I guess it's much more complex to make a decision than to do the list that you mention. There are also financial and emotional consequences with our action or inaction. Whilst the decision we make may just be binary, the factors that goes into the consideration may very well result in a life-changing path for us.
Regardless, we should all assume the responsibility of our choices in life. Steem on!
Tip is one, and the decision is the other. It is always easiest to give advice when you are not in this situation and when you do not have to make a decision and bear the consequences.
However, sooner or later we all deal with our decisions and rarely can be corrected when it is too late.
