Reflections on Covid

Thinking about Covid and helping @jauregui98 as set out by @theycallmedan

Covid 1 - Initial response

Crazy, scary time in March last year...people were wearing masks and they were not even a member of our band. The supermarkets were empty frightened places of panic and peoples eyes looked suspiciously at you if you got to close. It was a time to keep family close and to close the doors and try not to panic.

Covid 2- What we lost

Freedom was gone. Social life was gone. Hugging friends and family.

Covid 3 - What we gained

Initmate family time. New ways to communicate. Time and space from distractions.

Covid 4 - Being creative

We made a lot of music during the last year as we have compatible studios in our houses. We would bounce ideas back and forth and made a lot of good song. Here is one we did at the very start. I think the first one we did!

Also with my son we have done alot of music as he has not been able to have his usual lessons and clubs!
Here is one of our open mics:

We also made lots of gifs together!

Covid 5 - getting long covid

I managed to get long covid about 3 months ago. Never been so ill so have been stuck inside. During this time is when I started to go on Hive alot which has been great!

I am ever the optomist, things have been different and I miss many things we used to do in a distant memory but everyday I feel blessed to have my family, enough money, a house, food, security and a passion in life!

I know we are lucky and I wanted to write this, as many people are not as lucky as us in Brighton UK!

Big love out to @jauregui98 hope you get well soon, and thank you @theycallmedan for making us write this post!

Big up the music
