There will always be rich people not wanting to help, average people trying to become rich etc as long as we live in a monetary world people have something to take and hoard. There is something about being better then others which people want to strive for. This mentality has been forced onto people through sources likes media, movies etc...
They love expressing these values to people. Hollywood loves to show you broken families, no parents, rich kids, really interesting stuff if you open your mind and look at it from a different perspective.
Brother, I understand all the things you said, but you must understand first you need to have a life for yourself then help others. at least I understand everyone who started independence life had some backup money and they also work in government jobs, or they have a good enough job! come here and check an independence life in here, then you will understand that it's really different from this perspective .
I only have a laptop and some cheap guitars I can sell them and give them to poor people, then I will become another poor man! is it good? what can I do right now? these are all I have, and my budget before steemit was 0$ and right now I just could help my parents to pay their Borrow to the fucking banks. they are two teachers, Im son of teachers which their salary is so low ... . Im a man who try and do good stuffs with low budget or even no budget and send good things out ... some quality works as you know. and If I had some enough power or enough budget to do a great work I will do.

I feel shame now!! my parents in their hard situation still helping poor children in the next street and give food to them, children who have no parents!! my parents every year buy a sheep and make much food and give away to poor people around the city. we just dont hoard anything, I tried to hoard but I never could, because problems comes always ... I didn't mean to ask for food, I just meant that I myself has nothing to help, but I will have soon! I know future is near and I will do the things just like you do Brendan, and Lyndsay!
