Hey Folks!
With Autumn in full spring and All Hallow's Eve around the corner, it seems only logical that October is the month for Juju!
Again, whether it's something that just fits better in our head, or something we experience, we're not sure. It is fun to daydream though, and it's a strong tool for staying happy in a world that keeps trying to leave us unimpressed.
Hero Training is still going strong! It seems we've returned to the course on challenges of being homeless. We're slowly shedding resources to accommodate these things, as per the expected curriculum. They won't last forever, but we have a stable holding pattern for now.
The Juju here is that it feels like it's the same loop we've been in for years. When we were younger, our parents trained us to be the scapegoat of the family. Whether it was neglect or hostility, we were taught that our actions didn't have an effect on how we were treated. We were bullied and excluded from a lot of things during our education. Finally, we were told that we simply had to leave, and that there would be unpleasant consequences for staying.
This has been happening over and over, and we've been in a process trying to break out of it for months.
We keep hoping that our friends, family, and followers will reach out and hear about the specifics that affected us this time, and we are close to desperate.
Even if you can't support us with resources though, if you can give us an attitude or environment to mirror, we'll shine and be present with you. We want to exist in spaces that are clean and friendly, and will help create those. We'll share food when we can, and we'll cook when we all like eating the same things. This goes for both "real" and "Juju" stuff, and is as much a part of Who We Are, Whole, as our dream of being a Hero.
