Steem HF23 Rumors: Ban List Update

@netuoso has posted more rumors about JSun and the incoming ban hammer. As we can see low level people like me have nothing to worry about. It's the big players that are being targeted. I'm sure we all see some very familiar accounts here.

These are just the accounts that stand out the most for me. It's almost surprising to see so many accounts that I recognize to be honest. I don't exactly consider myself a social butterfly in any sense of the expression.

Truely

I don't understand why JSun thinks he can get away with this. This is rampant securities fraud all tied up in a nice little bow for the SEC, who has already been gunning for the Tron Foundation. With Steemit Inc registered in the united states this is just going to be baby-town frolics for them at this point.

Not to mention the obvious class-action lawsuit that's going to arise from all these accounts being nullified. If this HF goes through, JSun signs his own death-warrant. It's truly a sight to behold.

I don't know how the law works, but if we can argue that Steem coins are worth a certain static amount in court, JSun is going to be absolutely fucked. Why? Because that money doesn't actually exist due to liquidity. He's going to be forced to pay out every whale he bans out of his own pocket rather than let the Steem coin liquidity drain all that value for free. What a silly move based on seemingly nothing but spite and perceived power.

He keeps making these idiot gambits thinking he can "win" instead of giving up.

YO JUSTIN!

The game is over.
You lost.
Get over it and cut your losses instead of doubling down on them.
Seriously.

What's really sad is all the "I choose steem, not hive" people...

Wait. It will blow up in their face very soon

that post where they said that they wouldn't freeze any accounts isn't aging very well

oh damm bittrex too this shit is about to get more interesting lol

Thanks for the info. I wasn't in on it.... you social butterfly :P
The economics of this is incredibly interesting. Nefarious as it is, the situation is unprecedented, and playing out in front of our eyes. People's trust in blockchains (and exchanges etc) is being tested.
I don't think he'll win in the end, but I also don't think it's over. More fireworks coming, grab the popcorn!

If this clusterfuck of an HF happens, I’ll powerdown even faster, if I can.

He’s a millionaire who doesn’t take lightly to when he is bested. He’s used to being the alpha but he got proven how much he’s weak with this whole scenario. He lets his emotions get to him way too much. The SEC won’t do anything serious though, it’s all hand slapping more than anything. Had he done this 2 years ago yes I think real consequences would happen. Now? I think the idea of crypto is too mainstream for them to have any real consequences for him.

Do you think our keys are at risk with this unhinged psycho? I don't discount anything with him any longer. Since the keys are the same between the two chains.

There's no way for him to mess with our keys.
Encryption is validated with the public key which is accessible to all anyway.

I also recently learned how Graphene prevents people from taking a public transaction on one chain and broadcasting it to another using ref_block_num and ref_block_prefix. Pretty interesting dry stuff.

Ok thanks. I remember you were going through the ref block stuff and number when talking about the raspberry Pi you are using. Thankfully it’s reassuring he can’t mess with the keys.

Indeed, he can not. The best he could do would be to alter the frontend (Steemit) to start stealing keys that people paste directly into the website. Solution? Don't use Steemit... and if you do... don't enter your keys into Steemit.com

It looks like theres more of the list too. I wonder if I'm on it, I've made fun of him.

Jsun is cray cray lol.

He should instead get after Ned because he's the one who screwed him, and us. What a bitch was that guy with his shitty haircut and guitar plays. On the other hand if it wasn't for all that drama and conflicts Hive would probably wouldn't exist. It's people's funds though that Sun is playing with and he will get burned for that, one day.

Although I disagree with the rumored hardfork and 22.8888, I still reckon Justin made millions for his investors from this whole affair.

It seems there may be other names not entirely visible on those two screen shots...

Meh, I'm getting bored with it, atp.

He is only doing what was done to him.
He got the folks that were holding us down.
Without those votes in the pool, everybody else should see their influence grow.
In the absence of others sucking out more than was getting sucked out before.

Now these folks have a their own chain to not vote my posts on.
All hail, open source software!

Why lol for @bittrix? Will @darthknight be able to get his funds?

On another note, any idea why tagging for @bittrix is disabled? What other accounts have such mentions disabled on this platform and who decides for it?

Hey, thanks for the heads up on this.
I don't understand why JS would do this... there is no good outcome...

Lol, that guy lost it completely. Hope someone rapes him or something.lol

I'm not a fan of revenge or negative reinforcement.
These techniques are counter-productive for everyone involved.
That being said he is a very hateable character with a very punchable face.
