Last Wednesday me and my friends went hiking on Menina planina. In the evening we watched our videos from that day together and made a new plan for next day. We decided our destination will be Mount Smrekovec. Last time we were there in December last year.
In Thursday alarm woke me up at 5 AM. I got up packed my clothes, went down to made myself breakfast and a cup of coffee. At around 6 AM I called my friends but they were still in their beds and not ready for another hiking day. All my gear was packed and already in my car so I didn't want to stay home that day.
At 8 AM I came to my starting point at around 1,000 m or 3,280 ft.
At around 8:30 AM I started hiking towards the top. The path I took that day was unknown for me but I heard it's the easiest in deep snow. First 20 minutes of hiking was perfect because of warm sun rays. Sun just pumped me with new energy and I knew this will be another amazing day on powder.
After sunny pastures the path leads me into the forest and I found fresh footprints which leads towards the top, so it became much easier for me. It took me around 1 hour to hike through the forest to came to Mountain hut called Dom na Smrekovcu (1,375 m or 4,511 ft).
After 1 hour and 50 minutes I came to the top (1,577 m or 5,173 ft). Another awesome winter day in the mountains. I was chilling on the top for about 45 min. Snow in the forest was perfect pow pow 😍 so I decided to ride down on the other side of Mount Smrekovec because last time when we went here was awesome.
After I rode half way down I had to put snowboard back on my backpack and hike for another 50 minutes to came back on the other side of the Mount.

Thank you :) Sure I will. Hope I get my phone from repair soon, cuz it's my only camera for taking pictures in the mountains.
