What will 2018 bring us hip hop fans? Im oh so curious. Im hoping it involves death to xanax syrup rappers (no pun intended,too early?) idk. Im just extremely tired of hearing lame rappers put tons of effects on their vocals and spitting over sub par trap instrumentals. What ever happened to emcees speaking up about things that really matter. Im sorry , but in such an over saturated scene, i need some shit that provokes my thought. Dont get it twisted. I have plenty of Gucci on my playlist. Not everything has to be deep cause that can be depressing. But atleast SOME stuff could sound intelligent. Its slim to none though. Lets hope 2018 gets the light shined upon some real emcees. I know they exist! Where yall true school cats at? Dont lose hope y'all! Waves die. Real hip hop is forever!
