This one is a compilation centered around the fruits of Redman and Erick Sermon's "Darkside" days following the breakup of EPMD and the release of Redman's Whut Thee? album.
Following the green eyed bandit's "No Pressure" and Redman's "Dare Iz A Darkside", the duo have solidified a dark mudy sound based around P(-+Funk) driven samples which were heavy enough to rival the Car-Banging productions coming from the West-Coast around the time but still retaining a distinctly New-York boom-bap flavor that propelled the duo to Hip-hop hall of fame levels and spawned careers for artists such as Jamal, Ketih Murray and LOD
