Hmm He doesn't seem like a very smart man to me lol - I'm sure he could have a better way to get away from the nagging - but I guess he was after some adventure and that's what he got :)

I think he was a dreamer who believed that management of plantation personnel was similar enough to management of a crew of sailors :)
