RE: How I Accidentally Uncovered a 19th century Con Woman and Murderer

in #history6 years ago

Princess Alexandra, oops, Eleanor, is quite a lady! Forget the female serial killer stories of today, the madam of the past are far more interesting. Eleanor concocted quite a life for herself. Houdini’s bequeathal of millions is a small shadow of a story compared to the one you uncovered on Eleanor.

I so wish Steemit wasn’t so particular with material being original, considering historybuff is no longer out there. I love this story. It was wonderfully written. Reminds me of the early days when I had the time to stop by your blog and read your stories. Really glad I had a chance to read this one. I hope you continue sharing more of your writing on here, old or new. Just record them all on the blockchain. 🙂

I haven't gotten any pushback from reposting HistoryBuff stuff, but I think now I've exhausted my best material from there anyway. I have made a two month commitment of at least 3 posts a week now that I've had that SP delegated, so I won't be going anywhere for a while! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to come read it. :)

Of course. I always enjoy reading when I can. It's just hard finding the time. :)
