"Do you know where we are?" The first words he had wanted to say to her, since they had met in the digital world. Only thing that he could think of saying, and it wasn't much, but it was all he could give her. Looking around and seeing the dull darkness in which they were, he saw nothing of value. He felt their surroundings, like dark, dense matter that was large enough to hold their own small rocky planet covered with trees, meadows, and other pleasant things. Looking at the stars, he saw the celestial bodies and their relative positions in the space and the universe. He saw the Earth in the Milky Way, where the Sun was. He saw the galaxy, and how the stars clustered together in different configurations and groups, and how they were moved by their own many thousand year orbits, moving farther away from one another with each passing year. Everything was all around him and he couldn't see anything else.
"Yes I do. We are in the monochrome world, where all colours are gone due to all the stars put under the consumption of something by it, which glows a white hue, and the world around us is all empty, a terrain without the star of light. It is the only place that we can be.
Suddenly a thought came through his mind and he had an idea. He thought up the idea, and it was in his mind. The thought was to follow a very simple pattern, to follow a very simple plan, or a complex complex plan. Neither of them knew which was right.
From this, the girl, without hesitation, followed. She believed in him and his abilities to carry out his plan. She believed that her high tech robotic body was able to withstand all the physical challenges of the challenges he was about to face. She trained her robotic body and strengthened it, to be able to withstand the physical impact and the harm and damage it will cost.
The gentleman was about to do a very well thought out plan that he had come up with. He thought about the things he would need to do such a difficult act, and it was all he needed. He took out a small grey orb that sizzled with a flash of a white light.
"What is that orb which you have in your hand?" she asked him.
"It is my photon sphere, a wondrous device I have created in the world of Monochrome, where we come together. It's function is to link the energy that my body can output, to yours, and because of it, to keep us both together in the world of light that is the only place we can be, within the monochrome world.
Her mouth was wide open, like a gear. "Do you mean what I think you mean?"
"It is very simple dear Ren. I am going to dissolve into your synthetic body, into the machine I made. Now I will break into your light and I will be inside you. I will be inside your robotic body, which is not exactly synthetic. I will establish a network connection between us. It will allow us to communicate, whether it will be via thought, or via a brain process, or even a simple visual display, I do not know which is which, but I know that it will work the way it is meant to work. There will be a connection between the two of us. All will be sorted out in due time. This is my plan, just to dissolve into your robotic body and survive the journey down, the focus of my plan."
"It sounds wonderful dear, if it can be done." she said with a smile and a warm feeling in her heart, by the prospect of what he was going to do.
"It will be done and you will be happy at last, as I will have made it happen and you will not have to worry about that cause in the world of Monochrome. "
She grasped the sphere and she put it in her control socket, which was in her wrist. Then she closed her circuits. She puffed her brow and she thought about her anxiety, her worry, and her very complicated life that she was experiencing, and via the sphere she had in her hands, he will keep her safe.
Though her body became robotic and her mind was now in a robotic state, the thought was to have the mind of this man who would be driven in his very own world, to a place of no colour, where he was to be in absolute darkness, it would be the entire universe all around him, and astoundingly there were no stars, it was pitch black, he would be in a monochrome, colourless, world. Pulusepting that, he tried another thought.
The orb had a white flash, like an explosion of pure being, where in the blank world that was black in all abyss around, that orb shone and it brightened the darkness so all could be seen in its light.
She was next to him, inside a pool of water that glistened like and diamond, which shimmers in the lights like a rainbow inside a prism, that was there at their feet, and they sat down together.
Then the darkness became pitch black again and it was very much dull and boring.
"Hello!" they said to each other "I can see nothing, can you?" he asked.
