Is the Sphinx actually 36,000 Years Old? Part II

in #history6 years ago

"A great Civilization must have preceded the vast movements of water that passed over Egypt. Which leads us to assume that the Sphinx already existed, sculpted in the rock of the west cliff at Giza. That Sphinx's leonine body except for the head shows Indisputable signs of aquatic erosion."

Sphinx water erosion hypothesis

Water weathering in the Sahara, here? Well there hasn't been any significant rainfall in Egypt for at least 7,000 years. The Sahara itself is a relatively new desert, forming around 10,000 BC.

This in itself dates the Sphinx to at least 5,000 BC.

The water weathering is found on the walls of the Sphinx exposure, as well as the body, everything except the head shows signs of water weathering. The head of the Sphinx was originally that of a lion and re-carved sometime later in the likeness of a pharaoh.

John Anthony West takes a more radical estimate, which is in keeping with the ancient Egyptian records themselves. Perhaps the Sphinx is a marker of the age of Leo, it does have a Leonine so this isn't too much of a stretch . A marker of the age of Leo, just what does that mean?

Well, the last age of Leo began at around 10,500 BC lasting until around 8,000 BC. So at around 10,500BC the Sphinx was aligned and looking at it's own image in the sky when it rises against the sun at the time of the equinox. There is one problem with this date though and it is something that nobody disagrees with, at this time in earths history the whole planet was in chaos after the breakup of the last ice age. Caused by a comet impact on the north American ice sheet, this impact vaporised 2km high sheets of ice, which spanned from Canada to parts of Europe. The result was that the planet was plunged into chaos with floods of Biblical proportions destroying everything in their path. (I'm not making this shit up, the planet was going through some pretty fucking terrible things at this time, as were the ancients living on it.)

A prerequisite for building a timeless monument like the Sphinx is surely a long settled period where there isn't much going on (AKA the entire planet plagued by inclement weather for a very long time.) This gives us one other option for correctly dating the Sphinx if it is in fact a marker of the age of Leo. If we push the construction of the Sphinx back one whole astrological cycle (The length of one cycle of twelve ages is 25,860 years) we get an even more staggering figure, 36,000 BC. This date corresponds to the Egyptian texts themselves (Part I covers this a little.) Learn more about the precession of the equinoxes here.

Another peculiar piece of evidence for water weathering in Egypt lies beneath the Red pyramid of Dahshur. There is a chamber in the pyramid known as a plundered tomb chamber. This cannot be the case however, as the blocks that make up this tomb have already been weathered.

And yet these bricks are completely protected by the Pyramid that has been built over it. For that weathering to have occurred, they would of had to have been exposed to the elements for a very long period of time. What we have here is a prior construction, megalithic in it's appearance. Similar to the barrows of Scotland, England and, Wales; rather than a typical classical interior of an Egyptian pyramid. It could not get weathered if it were just a single stage of Pyramid construction.

what do you guys think, could it be possible that the Sphinx is much older than we perceive?

Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading, see you shortly for part III

Love this subject! Nicely done post. Yes- history isn't what we have been taught for sure. Yes- much older.

Me too! The big question is why are we being taught this version?

I think because if we knew the real truth, then religions, governments, usury monetary systems (as we know them to be now) would become obsolete and humans wouldn't allow the "elite" groups to manage humanity's affairs. Also- If the pyramids (all over the world) were part of an "electric grid" then we wouldn't need the methods of energy we use now- hence more money and controllers becoming obsolete. The truth could set humanity free.

That's interesting what you say about the pyramids and electricity, all the ancient sites lie on very specific and precise lines of latitude or longitude in relation to each other. Revolving around the precession of earth on it's axis, perhaps they acted as information or power "highways". I will make a post about this at a later date. I can't remember the specific maths or significants of this but it will make for great reading after I research.

I think a case can be made that it isn't a secret society or something making the decisions to hide the truth we are seeking, rather it is the act of many people in power acting in self interest independently trying to avoid their ego from being taken down a peg. The result is the same however.

Indeed. I look forward to seeing more of your posts. Happy New Year to you! :)

Good article! Of course the Sphinx, the Pyramids and other ancient artifacts are much older than it is according to the current doctrine.
The bigger question for me is why is all research about it stifled, dismissed and ridiculed ?
I'd bet my dentures that quite a bit of evidence rests in the Vatican's library.
So, What are we not supposed to know?
I will follow you for more.

Most of the pushback is from academic professors with university tenure. If it turns out that it is shown to be true doesn't reflect what they have been teaching for the past 30 years then they fear losing their jobs. These guys and gals have to "die off" before a new wave of thinking and study is accepted as truth.

The same thing happened with dinosaurs, within 3 generations it was considered fact that dinosaurs did in fact exist and this opened the field up for further specialised research. Hope that helps!

Well, you know probably more than I do about this subject.
However, I find it very hard to believe that any "academic professor" who has all his marbles together actually believes that the great pyramids are build by the Egyptians as tombs for the Pharaohs. That is just ridiculous, even a complete moron must see that something is wrong with this theory, and still it is the doctrine. For how long now? Decades! Besides that, there was a huge vendetta against two German scientists who collected samples. The curators went absolutely berserk. Something is really fishy here in my mind...

I don't know a great deal, I want to learn as I go really, trying to piece together evidence as I go along.

This is from wikipedia:

Zahi Hawass, former Egyptian minister of state for antiquities affairs and secretary-general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, was asked in an interview on the PBS series NOVA if it was possible that a more ancient civilization might have sculpted the Sphinx. Hawass replied: "Of course it is not possible for one reason …. No single artifact, no single inscription, or pottery, or anything has been found until now, in any place to predate the Egyptian civilization more than 5,000 years ago."

They completely ignore the fact that we have documented evidence of people constructing great works of architecture in modern day Turkey at least 12,000 years ago! See Göbekli Tepe, it amazes me that this site is still I believe 95% not excavated. Built at a time when we were supposedly hunter gatherers . This knowledge takes time to accumulate, so the knowledge of architecture etc, must come from an older still source!

This is exactly my point. These people cannot possibly be that ignorant or stupid. There is so much real evidence out there, some of the stuff is sheer mind blowing. Have you ever heard of the Austrian Klaus Dona? The things he discovered are sensational. And still, mainstream fights, denies, sabotages and ridicules everything which challenges the Dogma. This Hawass creep actually had to resign after the scandal with the Germans. Something stinks to high heaven here. In my mind, History as we are being told is a lie. Not because of personal arrogance, vanity or greed. There must be more behind it...
