It must be a very interesting movie. I wish all the real characters of P. T Barnum were showed in the movie. I think his character was a pretense. How can he stand against slavery and still have a slave? . Lol. I'll watch it soon. Thanks for the info

It is a little disingenuous, but a movie like this will only get part of the story right (even if it's fun to watch).

Did you know that he started a rumor about himself and Joice Heth, saying that he was a fraud and she was a robot, rather than a really old person? It brought more spectators because the people were more curious about a robot automaton than someone claiming to be so old.
