History of the Future - brief introduction

in #history7 years ago

... by 2020 the whole world started changing.

Thanks to the internet and the decentralization, people all around the world could exchange information and wealth faster then ever, without the interference of the governments.

As things started progressing more quickly, the time of censorship and centralized political power has come to an end, allowing the next step in technological and human evolution.

Human society entered a new era, starting to collaborate and create rather then compete.

This was not only a step forward in the technological perspective but also in the human society as a whole.

People were now free to offer their skills, innovations and products without having to fear being shut down because of regulations or being crushed by a competition.

Different industries started having revolutionary breakthroughs with the innovators acting as one mind and constantly improving existing and developing new ideas.

Robotization and automation took over more and more daily tasks; this new technology not only physical but also administrative work, freeing up time to focus on development of technology and the exploration of the spiritual and the mind rather then keeping the valuable time locked up with routinely daily tasks.

With the colonization of Mars and other space objects, worry about resources became a thing of the past, allowing human society to expand it's borders at a scale that keeps growing.

Combining nature with technology has resulted in phenomenal results, making Earth a far more harmonious place and enabling to push boundaries further then ever dreamed of before.

It's a nice vision. I wonder how much of it will come to pass. I might be a bit negative here, but with the selfishness of mankind, I just don't see the harmonious part happening.
