Today I was remembering something that happened to me as a child, to this day I keep wondering what it could have been.
I was between 10 and 11 years old, it was about 1:00 p.m., I had left elementary school, when I got home I found my mother talking to a gypsy inside. I was "reading" his hand as they say.
I don't remember her face but she wore a typical long and wide dress made of a very shiny fabric, as if it were silk, the kind that gypsies wear at least here in Argentina.
The moment I entered the house I began to feel a very penetrating smell, very ugly and nauseating, I asked my mother what that horrible smell was that she felt, while she made gestures as if she wanted to vomit.
My mother scolded me because she felt ashamed, she did not want that unknown woman to think that my house was dirty or something like that.
I insisted a couple more times, complaining about the smell and his answer was always the same. Meanwhile, when I expressed my regret to my mother for that smell, the gypsy woman looked at me askance as if she knew what was happening. I cannot describe what the smell was like, it is the only time I felt it, it was very penetrating and very horrible.
Some time later, when I was growing up talking to my mother, I reminded her of that episode and she told me that at no time did she feel that strong smell that I felt.
My theory is that that gypsy woman was accompanied by some dark entity or that she put some kind of curse on us
