One of the biggest conflicts of all times changed this world politically and geographically in many ways in drastic ways since The time that started till the ended first let’s start on Africa :
Africa
Arica had been the most affected, before ww2 erupted and the Italo etipian war happens .
Ok so this I what happend italian territory’s were annexed and one freed into Ethiopia,modern day Libya was annexed by the republic of France, Italian Somaliland, and Italian eritrea were annex by the British empire and france.
Now up is present day africa after ww2 the decolonization of Africa happend due to exploitation of resources internal struggle,political influences, and the war struggle from both world wars causing the modern day africa.
Also ideology’s from other countries were brought into the continent like capitalism,communism,fascism,nationalisms ,islamism.
Europe
The epicenter of the two biggest wars on history it had changed from peace to war I just under 30 years with the dise of facism on Germany that brought hitler to power , Benito mosulini and Francisco Franco on Spain the tension was really high and Europe was at brink of war, before ww2 and the annexation of Austria and Czechoslovakia
Now with the annexation of Austria after the referendum had voted to join Germany and the annexation of the sudetenland and that causing the annexation of Czechoslovakia and the creation of the reich protectorate of Slovakia after the first Vienna and the second giving Transylvania to fascist hungry award tensions in Europe were at its peak. Post war Europe was a mayor change with the nationalist, fascist states of Europe apart of nationalist Spain tuned into capitalist or eastern bloc communist states.Now after the parist peace treaty the us gained territories on Austria and on Germany, germany being divided into two, the ussr, and the USA beginning a Cold War between capitalism and communism.
Asia
Asia another prime front in which millions died atrocities were done and the cause in which the us joined the war. By 1939 the Japanese were fighting a successful campaign which lasted all the war against the Chinese and causing a large political and geographical change after ww2.Asia looked like this:
During the war japan had invaded many British, French colonies and the invasion of China reached its peak and withe ussr and the USA things dint end well for Japan. This is how mid war Asia looked like this:
After ww2 Japan was decolonized losing the foothold on mainland Asia with the liberation of North Korea and south which would cause major world tensions in the 50s Burma, Cambodia Laos, Vietnam Indonesia etc were some places decolonize by Britain and France. Also after victory China had a coup by communist Mao Zedong and the Chinese nationalist were exiled to Taiwan. The Asian sphere had lots of influence by the USA and the USSR and the people’s republic of China, and North Korea became a major rival to the USA capitalist sphere which was Japan South Korea and Japanese taken colonies.
Conclusion
The conclusion is that the political ideas of communism and capitalism became two big rivals after fascism was splattered and it was only visible in small countries and the only big each being supported by more than one world superpower for example communism was supported by the PRC and the USSR and capitalism by the USA, Britain, and France.and facism by the last big country being Spain. From the spoils of war, it caused future wars and it did mayor development in technology and science.
