Trade relations between nations in ancient times has left many tangible historical heritage, as well as memories and impressions, and more of it is so ideas.

One tangible historical heritage which is often a collection of antiquities is ceramic. For the eastern region of the World, or Asia, the most widespread ceramics are ceramics produced in China. No exception in my place, in Aceh, which is one of the most important ports of entry on the east-west passages in ancient times.

In fact, Chinese ceramics became a marker of luxury that is owned by someone since ancient times to the present, even if the use and value has been different between then and today; ago as objects used for the daily needs, and now as a decoration and display in the house. But, ceramics still declare themselves as luxury items.

I will point out one by one starting from this post to the next.

From the Ming Dynasty (14-16 centuries), blue and white Jingdezhen ceramics; flowerpot, cylindrical, cracked blue and white.
