Primera vez escribiendo en esta comunidad, así que espero el contenido sea de su agrado. Hace días asistí a un evento de mi universidad, dicho evento también dictó una conferencia para diseñadores gráficos en el cual mis amigos fueron participes, al darles un descanso de unos minutos para comer nos dirigimos a la zona continua donde estaban exhibidos trabajos de la universidad, stands de emprendimientos y mucho más.
Al ver tanta gente alrededor y por la hora decimos huir del lugar jajajaja yo me agobio un poco por la cantidad de gente así que lo primero que quise hacer fue correr, nuestro coordinador de la carrera vio a mis amigos y le hizo señas de que tenían unos minutos y cuando vimos que caminaba hacia nosotros salimos corriendo jajajaja.
Buscando donde pasar el rato quisimos entrar al café de al lado, pero este se encontraba lleno de personas así que optamos por La Casa del Pan de Bono que queda del otro lado de la catedral de nuestra ciudad y era un lugar que siempre nos llamó la atención, pero no entramos a ver sino hasta ahora. Como cosa rara yo quedé encantada con el lugar y comencé a tomar fotos y fotos mientras mis amigos pedían sus respectivas comidas (se supone que comprarían almuerzo, pero se emocionaron con el menú y pidieron otras cosas jajaja).

A few days ago I attended an event of my university, this event also dictated a conference for graphic designers in which my friends were participants, giving them a few minutes break for lunch we went to the continuous area where they were exhibited works of the university, entrepreneurship booths and more.
Seeing so many people around and because of the time we decided to run away from the place hahahaha I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of people so the first thing I wanted to do was run, our race coordinator saw my friends and signaled him that they had a few minutes and when we saw that he walked towards us we ran away hahahahaha.
Looking for a place to hang out we wanted to go to the cafe next door, but it was full of people so we opted for La Casa del Pan de Bono which is on the other side of the cathedral of our city and was a place that always caught our attention, but we didn't go in to see it until now. As a rare thing I was enchanted with the place and started taking pictures and pictures while my friends ordered their respective meals (they were supposed to buy lunch, but they got excited with the menu and ordered other things hahaha).
El mesero nos comentó que son un restaurante con temática colombiana, fue muy amable y nos ofreció de todo un poco jajaja. La música de ambiente era genial, canciones sin letras, solo melodías colombianas bastantes suaves que puedes disfrutar mientras conversas, tienen palabras y frases colombianas o dichas frecuentemente allá pegadas y escritas por todo el lugar. El olor a café lo reconocí rápido, una vez en mi familia nos regalaron café Juan Valdez y yo quedé encantada, así que al percibir el olor se podrán imaginar mi alegría.
Ahora sí hablemos de la comida, como buenos comelones que somos mi familia y yo (siempre comiendo claro que sí), como dije, se emocionaron y pidieron papas rellenas que vinieron con sus respectivas salsas (divinas), me encantó el sabor, muy bien condimentado, pensé que por la cantidad de condimentos me he iba a molestar un poco (me gustan los sabores en equilibrio, debo poder saborear todo jeje), fue todo excelente, había escuchado de dichas papas pero no las había probado hasta ahora, las salsas tenían buena textura, principalmente la wuasacaka (o como se escriba jajaj).
Los jugos excelentes también, me encantó una limonada que pidieron los chicos, el otro jugo de parchita si estaba subido de azúcar para mi gusto, pero igual de rico. La torta o baby cake estaba muy bien, me hubiera gustado probarla recién hecha ya que se notó que tenia tiempo en el mostrador, la crema pastelera me gustó, me recordó a la que prepara mi hermana mayor (10/10).

The background music was great, songs without lyrics, just soft Colombian melodies that you can enjoy while talking, they have Colombian words and phrases or frequently said Colombian words and phrases stuck and written all over the place. I quickly recognized the smell of coffee, once in my family we were given Juan Valdez coffee and I was delighted, so when I smelled the smell you can imagine my joy.
Now let's talk about the food, as good eaters that my family and I are (always eating of course), as I said, they were excited and ordered stuffed potatoes that came with their respective sauces (divine), I loved the taste, very well seasoned, I thought that due to the amount of condiments I was going to be a little upset (I like balanced flavors, I must be able to taste everything hehe), everything was excellent, I had heard of these potatoes but had not tried them until now, the sauces had a good texture, especially the wuasacaka (or however it is written hahahah).
The juices were excellent too, I loved a lemonade that the kids ordered, the other juice was a little too sweet for my taste, but it was still tasty. The cake or baby cake was very good, I would have liked to try it freshly made as it was noticeable that it had time on the counter, I liked the pastry cream, it reminded me of the one my older sister prepares (10/10).
Recomiendo este lugar a las personas de Maturín, se siente cálido y muy familiar el local, queríamos probar el Pan de Bono pero debíamos irnos y lo dejamos para otra oportunidad. Es muy agradable todo, desde la comida, la atención, y en cuanto a precios pues, un tanto elevado para raciones pequeñas, pero lo demás me parece bien. Disfruten de las fotos. Saludos.
I recommend this place to people from Maturin, the place feels warm and very familiar, we wanted to try the Bono Bread but we had to leave and we left it for another opportunity.
