Two reasons why Guava had been my go to fruit

in Hive Food8 days ago

I don't know how many people have noticed this but Guava fruit has lots of health benefits. Whenever I have running nose or common cold, two things helps me control it. First thing is a good night sleep. The second thing is eating a guava fruit. I have noticed that whenever I eat guava fruit, the running nose will gradually get contained for the rest of the day. People who have common cold can give it a try.

Best way to eat guava

I usually don't take guava directly. I have noticed that if I eat guava directly it cools my body too much and ultimately what happens is that I end up complicating the common cold I have. It starts with throat infection and it gradually leads to cold. I have noticed this in my body but I cannot say that this can be the case for others too. But for others who have the same body type might have felt the same.

I also don't like eating a guava fruit. I want it to be in proper parrot green color and it has to be in half ripened state. This is what tastes good for me. But at times I also take guava that is fully ripened because they say it is very good for constipation.

In such cases the best way to take guava is by mixing it with little salt and chilli powder. I mix both of them and mix it thoroughly with guava cuttings and then eat them piece by piece. This way the salt and spicy flavor takes care of the over cooling effect that guava can give us.

Benefits of guava

As mentioned above guava is very useful in cooling the body. Since there is a high dosage of Vitamin C in it, it can act as a shield against common diseases or health issues. Guava is rich in fiber content so it can act as a regular meal too for people who are detoxing. Guava fruit is very good against constipation. Whenever people have constipation issue, well ripened guava is very good for that.

Eating one guava per day can give a lot of health benefits. People with vitamin deficiencies can consume guava daily and see the outcome evidently.

I remember when I and my friends usually pluck this fruit to eat, I loved it in my childhood days😁

I love the tip about eating it half-ripened with spice, we usually eat like that in Bangladesh. Haha I guess it's an Asian thing. 😁

That’s really interesting! I have never tried eating guava with chill powder and salt before. I’m glad you figured out a way to enjoy it.

@hopestylist here!

The young one, which still a little bit bitter can cure diarrhea, that what used to eat when I was a little kids, and getting guava is still so easy. but now they are hard to find around. it used to grow wildly, now they have been cut down, and change with different plant, as guava was not a great commodity back then.

Now in India we are getting a guava variety imported from Indonesia. That has become very common here.

Guava is one of the best fruit to eat that has many health benefits. It has rich in vitamin c that boost our immunity to fight many diseases.

Yes. I agree with you, I love eating guava with a little mixture of salt and spicy chili.

Guava is really a wonderful fruit! It helps with cold, boosts immunity, and even aids digestion. I haven't tried your mix before because I was scared taking guava along the line when it was getting really hard and people were saying it was the cause of appendix. Probably I will try your mix and see how it taste.
