Vegetables soup

"Good afternoon, my Hivefood friends! I hope you're all having a fantastic day. Today, I'm thrilled to share with you one of my favorite recipes: Vegetable Soup! This hearty and nutritious soup is not only delicious but also packed with vitamins and minerals from the assorted vegetables.

To get started, put on your apron and let's dive into the ingredients:

  • Waterleaf (a popular leafy green in many Nigerian dishes)

  • Crayfish (for added flavor and nutrition)

  • Maggi cube (or your preferred seasoning cube)

  • Pepper (to taste)

  • Meat of your choice (such as beef, goat meat, or chicken)

  • Fish (for added protein and flavor)
  • Palm oil (for a rich and authentic flavor)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Stockfish (for added depth of flavor)
  • Snail (for a unique texture and flavor)

Now, let's move on to the preparation:

  1. Wash and chop your assorted vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Wash the snail, stockfish, and meat thoroughly, and put them in a large pot. Add pepper, Maggi cube, salt, and enough water to cover the ingredients. Cook for 20 minutes, or until the meat is tender.
  3. Add the fish and crayfish to the pot, and let it simmer for a few minutes. The ingredients will release their own juices, creating a rich and flavorful broth.
  4. Add the chopped waterleaf to the pot, and cook for 30 minutes, or until the flavors have melded together and the soup has thickened slightly.
  5. Finally, add the assorted vegetables to the pot, and cook for another 20 minutes, or until they're tender. Stir in the palm oil towards the end of cooking, as this will help preserve its flavor and nutrients.
