Hola a todos, espero que su semana éste yendo de maravilla. Hoy paso por aquí para contarles de otro restaurante al que tuve la oportunidad de asistir para seguir aprovechando la validez del evento llamado Medellín gourmet. Como les mencioné en mis post anteriores, los restaurantes participantes sacan un menú con entrada, dos platos fuertes, bebidas, agua, café y postre. Así que está vez nos fuimos por una opción mexicana.
Hello everyone, I hope your week is going great. Today I stop by to tell you about another restaurant that I had the opportunity to attend to continue taking advantage of the validity of the event called Medellin gourmet. As I mentioned in my previous posts, the participating restaurants put out a menu with a starter, two main courses, drinks, water, coffee and dessert. So this time we went for a Mexican option.
Al salir del trabajo, queríamos probar la hamburguesa participante al burger máster en el restaurante pigasus. Sin embargo, al llegar al centro comercial Mayorca nos dimos cuenta que había mucha fila y por eso decidimos caminar y ver en qué otro restaurante podíamos cenar. Así fue como nos encontramos con Wajaca y al ver sus promociones de tacos por 4000 mil pesos nos sentimos tentados a probar allí.
When we left work, we wanted to try the burger at the burger master at the pigasus restaurant. However, when we got to the Mayorca mall we realized that there was a long line and so we decided to walk around and see what other restaurant we could have dinner at. That's how we came across Wajaca and when we saw their taco promotions for 4000 thousand pesos we were tempted to try there.
Al sentarnos, nos dimos cuenta que Wajaca tenia un menú participante al Medellín gourmet por 85 mil pesos colombianos, así que como amantes de la comida y del postre decidimos irnos por este menú. Debo agregar que como cortesía nos trajeron unos nachos con las salsas de la casa los cuales estaban bastante sabrosos y como entradas unas flautas de cochinita que estaban excelentes y para mí número 1 de todo el menú.
As we sat down, we noticed that Wajaca had a menu that participated in the Medellín gourmet menu for 85 thousand Colombian pesos, so as food and dessert lovers we decided to go for this menu. I must add that as a courtesy they brought us some nachos with the house sauces which were quite tasty and as appetizers some cochinita flautas which were excellent and for me number 1 on the menu.
Obviamente José acompañó con una cerveza y yo con soda de frambuesa que estaban bastantes refrescantes. Seguidamente nos trajeron lo platos fuertes para los cuales ordenamos un burrito y unos tacos para probar ambos. Si me preguntan, la comida estaba calientita y su presentación increíble. La atención fue buena y estaba delicioso. Nada más que agregar. Pueden ver como esto se veía.
Obviously Jose accompanied with a beer and I with raspberry soda which were quite refreshing. Next we were brought our entrees for which we ordered a burrito and tacos to try both. If you ask me, the food was hot and the presentation was amazing. The service was good and it was delicious. Nothing more to add. You can see what this looked like.
Para terminar nuestra deliciosa cena, nos trajeron el postre y obviamente elegimos la torta 3 leches con chocolate. Esta sin duda estuvo de maravilla. Excelente para complementar todo el menú. Si me preguntan, desde mi opinión puedo darle un 8/10 a Wajaca. No soy tan amante de la comida mexicana, sin embargo me gustó mucho todo aquí. Los tacos fueron los favoritos con un toque de una salsa dulce.
To finish our delicious dinner, they brought us dessert and obviously we chose the 3 leches cake with chocolate. This was without a doubt wonderful. Excellent to complement the whole menu. If you ask me, from my opinion I can give Wajaca an 8/10. I'm not that much of a Mexican food lover, however I really liked everything here. The tacos were the favorite with a touch of a sweet sauce.
Ya para irnos a casa, pedimos la cuenta con la propina incluida así que pagamos unos 92.000 pesos colombianos o lo que es aproximadamente unos 23 USD. La atención estuvo maravillosa y toda la comida la trajeron rápido es decir, no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para comer. Esto fue todo por hoy espero que les haya gustado. When we were ready to go home, we asked for the bill with the tip included so we paid about 92,000 Colombian pesos or approximately 23 USD. The service was wonderful and all the food was brought quickly, that is, we did not have to wait long to eat. That's all for today, I hope you liked it. See you in a future post. Best regards

Estuvo delicioso, nos encantó mucho. La verdad los tacos de birra son otro nivel con salsa dulce. Te lo recomiendo jeje.
