Going to the beach is always lovely, but it can be exhausting if you have to carry food, clothes, drinks, etc. That's not attractive to me, so now that I go to the beach (even if you have to invest a bit more) I like to eat there.
Besides, I feel it's a way to eat something fresh, to support the people who sell their food and in the end we don't run the risk of the food being thrown away, damaged or not to the diners' liking... EVERYONE WINS!
In this case, it was my friend Karla's birthday and we went to the restaurant "Parador marino Doña Lourdes" at the beach, because their prices are affordable, the product is good and we can take our things apart to enjoy the day at the beach.
🍛 That day we ate fish for $5. The dish consists of: fish, tostones (green plantain with cheese and tomato sauce), fried arepitas, shredded salad (cabbage and carrot) and some lemon wedges to sprinkle all over the fish.
🎂 As we celebrated a birthday, then the cake was the star of the show. This style of cake is very common in the area and they are tasty, very tasty. The negative point is that for the beach it is complicated because it is very creamy and the breeze brings sand that sticks to the cake, but we knew how to protect it and when we ate it, we simply wanted to repeat he,he,he,he.
🍷 As the drinks were not to be missed, we brought some wines which we enjoyed on the rocks because the sun was hot and it got hot very quickly. The drinks to accompany the food were ordered at the restaurant.
❌ The only negative point was a fish soup that one of the people ordered and it turned out that it was not hot, flavoured or at least with more vegetables. The friend didn't eat it, she complained but they still charged her 🤷♀. I would have taken it with me at least for the dogs😌.
Well, we decided to go to another restaurant next time to compare and try something different.

Ir a la playa siempre es encantador, pero puede ser agotador si tienes que estar llevando: la comida, ropa, bebidas ¡Ay! no eso para mí ya no es atractivo, por eso, ahora que voy a la playa (aunque haya que invertir un poco más) me gusta comer allí.
Además, siento que es una forma de comer algo fresco, poder apoyar a las personas que venden sus comidas y al final no corremos el riesgo de que la comida se bote, se dañe o no sea de agrado para los comensales ¡GANAMOS TODOS!
En este caso, era el cumplevida de mi amiga Karla y fuimos a la playita de confianza, al restaurant "Parador marino Doña Lourdes" ya que sus precios son accesibles, el producto es bueno y nos permite llevar nuestras cosas aparte para disfrutar del día de playa.
🍛 Ese día comimos pescado a $5. El plato se compone de: el pescado, tostones (plátano verde con queso y salsa de tomate), arepitas fritas ,ensalada rallada (repollo y zanahoria) y unas ruedas de limón para rociar en todo el pescado ¡uff! que sabor ¿Que les parece?
🎂 Como celebramos un cumpleaños, entonces la torta fue protagonista. Este estilo de tortas son muy comunes en la zona y son sabrosas, muy sabrosas. El punto negativo es que para la playa es complicado porque es muy cremosa y la brisa trae arena que se pega a la torta, pero supimos resguardarla y cuando la comimos, simplemente queríamos repetir je,je,je.
🍷 Como la bebida no podía faltar, entonces llevamos unas de vinos que disfrutamos con hielo porque el sol apremia y se calentaba muy rápido. Las bebidas para acompañar la comida las pedimos en el restaurant.
❌ El único punto negativo fue una sopa de pescado que pidió una de las personas y resulta que no estaba caliente, con sabor o al menos con mas verduras. La amiga no la comió, hizo el reclamo pero igual la cobraron 🤷♀. Yo me la hubiese llevado al menos para los perritos😌.
Bueno, decidimos ir a otro restaurant la próxima vez para comparar y probar algo distinto.
