Hola mis queridos amantes de la buena y exquisita comida, espero que se encuentren bien y este #2023 les vaya muy bien para que puedan seguir mostrándonos más de su arte culinario.
Hace días, les mostré que compartí con mi mami una comida en un nuevo supermercado que abrieron en mi ciudad. Esta modalidad se ha vuelto recurrente y se pueden encontrar todos los artículos en un solo sitio y algunos a buen precio. Como podemos pasar mucho tiempo allí, entonces tienen un restaurant que ofrece comida desde la mañana hasta el final de la tarde.
¿Qué tipo de comida puedes encontrar?
Como es desde principio del día, encontramos los típicos desayunos venezolanos de arepas y empanadas rellenas de lo que quieras: queso, jamón, carne, pollo o combinadas. Pero esto no es limitado porque también hay desayunos con sandwich y panes rellenos. Obviamente, esto lo combinamos con jugos, leches o avenas de su preferencia.

Hello my dear lovers of good and exquisite food, I hope you are well and this #2023 goes very well so you can continue to show us more of your culinary art.
A few days ago, I showed you that I shared a meal with my mommy in a new supermarket that opened in my city. This modality has become recurrent and you can find all the items in one place and some at a good price. As we can spend a lot of time there, they have a restaurant that offers food from morning until late afternoon.
What kind of food can you find?
As it is from the beginning of the day, we find the typical Venezuelan breakfasts of arepas and empanadas filled with whatever you want: cheese, ham, meat, chicken or combined. But this is not limited because there are also breakfasts with sandwiches and stuffed breads. Obviously, we combine this with juices, milks or oatmeal of your choice.
Los almuerzos comienzan a las 11 de la mañana. Cabe resaltar que venden pollo ya listo para consumir con sus acompañantes.
Ese día, llegamos a las 11 y no había mucha variedad de comida: pasticho, arroz estilo chino, ensalada, papas fritas. Intenté pedir algo de cada cosa para poder probar y traerle la reseña, pero de verdad que no me gustó mucho la presentación porque parecía como vieja, no del mismo día.
Mi apreciación
Mi invitada y yo somos conocedoras "de la comida por kilo"; nos gusta mucho este concepto porque podemos elegir de todo un poco y probar varias cosas entre comidas, postres, sopas y cualquier cosa que ofrezcan.
En este caso, mi primera elección siempre es un pasticho, pero este no me gustó la presentación porque no era consistente o como presentación de estar duro, entonces no lo tomé.

That day, we arrived at 11 and there was not much variety of food: pasticho, Chinese style rice, salad, fries. I tried to order some of everything so I could try it and bring you a review, but I really didn't like the presentation because it looked old, not from the same day.
My appreciation
My guest and I are "food by the kilo" connoisseurs; we really like this concept because we can choose from a little bit of everything and try several things between meals, desserts, soups and whatever they offer.
In this case, my first choice is always a pasticho, but this one I didn't like the presentation because it was not consistent or as a presentation of being hard, so I didn't take it.
Yo estaba esos días queriendo comer comida china, y ya me habían recomendado que allí vendían; esto fue lo que seleccione. Mi mamá, que anda comiendo más que yo, se decidio por ensalada cesar con carne salteada.
Resultados:
El arroz solo era arroz con color. Nada de sus ingredientes tradicionales como frijol chino o algún tipo de vejetal como le colocan. Para mí gusto estaba un poco duro y no tenía el característico sabor de la salsa de soya. Al final, comí arroz con cebolla y pedacitos de jamón.
La ensalada César, fue lechuga y pan. El queso fue escaso y la salsa un poco líquida y no espesa. No fue de mi agrado la ensalada.
La carne salteada. En conclusión, estaba dura y con pellejos. Terminé comiendo los vegetales porque mi mamá lo dejó casi todo.
I was looking forward to eating Chinese food, and it had been recommended to me that they sold Chinese food there; this is what I selected. My mum, who eats more than me, decided on Caesar salad with stir-fried meat.
Results:
The rice was just rice with colour. None of the traditional ingredients like Chinese beans or some kind of vejetal like they put on it. For my taste it was a bit hard and didn't have the characteristic taste of soy sauce. In the end, I had rice with onion and bits of ham.
The Caesar salad was lettuce and bread. The cheese was thin and the sauce a bit runny and not thick. I did not like the salad.
The sautéed meat. In conclusion, the meat was tough and skinny. I ended up eating the vegetables because my mum left most of it.
Conclusion
I give it 2.5 stars out of 5 🌟, based on:
Price 💲: that would be the only thing I would rescue because the kilo costs $9 and that day we only consumed less than half and the plates were full.
Taste 😛: not the taste you would expect from the foods mentioned. Do you know what Caesar salad tastes like? It didn't taste like salad. And so on.
Place 🏢: Very clean despite the fact that it is very crowded. The service is first class, because they are very attentive to what you need and the table. I assume that because of the price and the variety people come, but I could notice that many people left some of the food, so I think my opinion was a group one.
The one thing that was salvageable was the tizana and desserts. That one I give a 5 star rating because it was juicy, with a variety of fruits, plenty of juice, it felt fresh, it was cold and it cost $1. Simply recommended. The desserts, you can get them from $1 as well and they are freshly made.
Conclusión Le doy 2,5 estrellas sobre 5, basándome en: Precio: sería lo único que rescataría porque el kilo cuesta 9 dólares y ese día sólo consumimos menos de la mitad y los platos estaban llenos. Sabor: no es el sabor que uno esperaría de los alimentos mencionados. ¿Sabes a qué sabe la ensalada César? No sabía a ensalada. Y así sucesivamente. Lugar: Muy limpio a pesar de estar muy concurrido. El servicio es de primera, porque están muy atentos a lo que necesitas y a la mesa. Supongo que por el precio y la variedad la gente acude, pero pude notar que mucha gente dejó parte de la comida, por lo que creo que mi opinión fue grupal. Lo único salvable fue la tizana. A esa le doy una calificación de 5 estrellas porque estaba jugosa, con variedad de frutas, mucho jugo, se sentía fresca, estaba fría y costaba $1. Simplemente recomendable.

The experience seems to have been not very good, several places I've been before where they sell the food charging the price by weight, fail badly on taste. From what you say, hard rice and an attempt at caesar salad. Not a very recommendable place. Surely many people go there for the price, it is food to appease hunger, not to enjoy it hahaha.
If you only knew, in Cumaná there were some that I've never seen anything like it! But yes, unfortunately, now it's "the cheaper, the worse" although $9 is not cheap at all but that's the way we are heh,heh,heh.
