Kheer is most famous recipe of my village And if I say that it is the recipe of my mother then there is nothing wrong with it because at every occasion and especially if the occasion is about sharing happiness or joy then my mother always cook this recipe that I am sharing today.

First of all I want to explain some of the important ingredients for making this recipe and after that I would like to share step by step recipe of kheer. It is interesting to know that ingredients that I am adding for making this recipe are present in every home and in every kitchen.

Ingridients for making kheer

Step 1

You have to take this medium size of glass and then you have to add milk in it. Glass that I should in picture is just for measurement so that you may measure properly the amount of milk that I am adding. You have to take three glasses of milk which should be boiled.

After these measurement now you have to take 5 table spoons of rice and for making this dessert more delicious you also have to add powdered milk in it because it gives much good taste to your dish so powder milk should be in a quantity that it makes one glass of milk while mixing.

That was all about the quantity of all things and sugar is separate things because it is depending upon your own choice that you want to add it or not that's why it is not a necessary ingredients.

Step 2

It is a complete guide that how you can make a good glass with powder milk so you have to take water which should be slightly warmed and then you have to add 5 tablespoons of powder milk in it and after that you have to mix it thoroughly.

After mixing of powder milk now it's a time to take a cattle and cook the recipe. Take a cattle and add 3 glasses of boiled milk as well as one glass of powdered milk that I recently guide to make. And then at this page the flame should be medium and it should be not too much low.

After 15 minutes when milk again starts to boil then we will make the flame very low because when you cook this recipe on low flame then it gives more good taste as well as a good colour.

Step 3

After that you have to stirr milk after every 3-4 minutes untill it gets thicker and thicker. After 20 minutes of cooking you have to add 5 table spoons of rice in milk that you already soaked in water for at least 30 minutes so that it may get soften.

While cooking the recipe will look like this after adding rice in milk for 1 hour. It is important to remember that while cooking for just 15 minutes in start the flame should be medium and after that the flame would be very low while making or while preparing whole recipe.

Step 4

How much you want to make this recipe thick it depends upon you but according to me there should be a good consistency of this recipe so that it will give a good taste so at end stage of this recipe if you want to make it sweet in taste then you should add 4-5 tablespoon of sugar in it.
