Hello friends of Hive Food, to all the food lovers who every day delight us with their dishes and drinks. On this occasion, I will be once again joining this initiative, by friend @mariele07, entitled "Cocinando a todo color, especial de bebidas". In which I present a tasty guava and beet juice.

La buena alimentación y nutrición de nuestro cuerpo y mantener las vitaminas necesarias radica en una buena alimentación balanceada, ricas en proteínas, minerales, vitaminas que proporcione el buen desarrollo y crecimiento de nuestro cuerpo y sobre todo de estar saludable. En cada desayuno, almuerzo, cena es indispensable la presencia de un buena bebida nutritiva que aporte muchos nutrientes.
Entres tantas bebidas o jugos siempre me ha llamado la atención el cambur, la patilla, la guayaba, lechosa como frutas y la remolacha, la zanahoria como vegetales que dan un rico sabor, nutrición a cada jugo que preparamos.
Escogí la guayaba uno de mis ingrediente especial para este jugo, por su sabor, dulzura y el aporte de vitaminas C, A, su alto contenido de hierro,fósforo y que ayuda a mantener el sistema inmunológico activado contras las enfermedades. La guayaba la podemos disfrutar como fruta y jugos. Y combate unos de los síntomas mas común como es la diarrea, proporciona un poco esa fibra que necesita el cuerpo.
La remolacha su color morado es sorprendente, da ese colorido a las ensaladas y jugos que usualmente disfrutamos como en un batido de 3 en 1(remolacha, zanahoria, naranja). Al consumir este vegetal nos proporciona minerales como potasio, sodio, fósforo y vitaminas A, C, B6. La remolacha es un vegetal, hortalizas que mezclados con una fruta es ideal para elevar nuestro niveles de sangre(Hemoglobina, plaquetas), ademas contribuye para evitar la anemia, es anti inflamatoria, ayuda a cuidar las glándulas tiroides y sobre todo a la buena digestión.

In every breakfast, lunch, dinner is essential the presence of a good nutritious drink that provides many nutrients.
Among so many drinks or juices, I have always been attracted to the cambur, patilla, guava, and milky as fruits and beets and carrots as vegetables that give a rich flavor and nutrition to each juice we prepare.
I chose guava as one of my special ingredients for this juice, for its flavor, sweetness and the contribution of vitamins C, A, its high content of iron, phosphorus and helps keep the immune system activated against diseases. Guava can be enjoyed as fruit and juices. And it fights one of the most common symptoms such as diarrhea, provides some of the fiber needed by the body.
The beet its purple color is amazing, it gives that color to salads and juices that we usually enjoy as in a 3 in 1 smoothie (beet, carrot, orange). Consuming this vegetable provides us with minerals such as potassium, sodium, phosphorus and vitamins A, C, B6. The beet is a vegetable that mixed with a fruit is ideal for raising our blood levels (hemoglobin, platelets), also helps to prevent anemia, is anti-inflammatory, helps to take care of the thyroid glands and especially to good digestion.

Unas de la razón que escogí preparar esta bebida saludable y nutritiva es debido a un momento de enfermedad de mi padre y buscando en la clínica afuera un jugo natural que comprar, me conseguí una vendedora de jugos cerca de la clínica y me acerque y le dije: ¿ Cuantos cuesta el jugo 3 en 1 y ella muy educada me dijo que no era 3 en 1 sino guayaba con remolacha y que era igual al famoso 3 en 1. Total que me quede pensativa y lo compre. Mientras pagaba la mujer me decía: Que era bastante sabroso y me contó su preparación: cocinando un poco la guayaba y la remolacha no mucho, licua y listo, si quiere le agregas azúcar. Así que desde ese día aprendí a preparar otra bebida y cuando puedo lo preparo en casa.
Why did you choose this drink
One of the reasons I chose to prepare this healthy and nutritious drink is due to a time of illness of my father and looking for a natural juice to buy in the clinic outside, I got a juice seller near the clinic and I approached her and said: How much is the 3 in 1 juice and she very politely told me that it was not 3 in 1 but guava with beets and that it was equal to the famous 3 in 1. While I was paying the woman told me that it was quite tasty and told me how to prepare it: cook the guava and beets a little bit, not too much, blend and ready, if you want you can add sugar. So since that day I learned to prepare another drink and when I can I prepare it at home.

A continuación los ingredientes y el paso a paso:
- 2 guayabas maduras.
- una remolacha pequeña.
- 100 gramos de azúcar.
Tasty guava and beet juice
Below are the ingredients and step by step:
- 2 ripe guavas.
- 1 small beet.
- 100 grams of sugar.

Primeramente lavamos bien la guayaba y remolacha, luego le quitamos la piel y la cortamos en trozos. Al cortar la piel de la remolacha utilice un bolsa plástica para evitar manchar las manos.
Step 1
First wash the guava and beet well, then remove the skin and cut into pieces. When cutting the beet skin use a plastic bag to avoid staining your hands.

Seguidamente colocamos la guayaba y remolacha en una olla con agua para luego ser cocinada por 15 minutos, no mucho tiempo. Se retira del fuego y se deja enfriar a temperatura ambiente.

Llego la hora de licuar, procedemos a colocar en la licuadora la guayaba y remolacha, luego a medida que se va licuando vamos añadiendo el azúcar. Se le añade un poco mas de agua y listo para ser colado.

It is time to blend, we proceed to place the guava and beet in the blender, then as it is blending we add the sugar. Add a little more water and it is ready to be strained.

Ya licuado, procedemos a colar el jugo y desechamos las semillas de la guayaba. Y ya esta listo nuestra bebida de guayaba y remolacha con ese color morado que encanta. Procedemos a servir en un vaso con hielo y a disfrutar.
Step 4
Once blended, proceed to strain the juice and discard the guava seeds. And now our guava and beet drink is ready with that purple color that we love. Serve in a glass with ice and enjoy.
