Fish is an integral part of our lives.It is not only a delicious food but also a source of nutrition. Fish contains a lot of protein, iron, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids, which play a special role in the growth of the human body and the prevention of diseases. Regularly eating fish helps in controlling heart disease, stroke, diabetes and blood pressure.In a river-rich country like Bangladesh, fish is not just a food source, it is the main source of economy. The livelihood of millions of people depends on fish. Fish plays a role in the export sector, which earns foreign currency. The role of fish is very important from an ecological perspective. Fish plays an important role in protecting the biodiversity of rivers, haors, beels and ponds and maintaining the balance of the environment. The presence of fish in water bodies keeps the water pure and keeps the food chain of other animals active.Fish is the main source of protein. We should include fish in our daily diet to meet our protein needs.In today's video, I shared a simple recipe for cooking fish. Fresh Rui fish was brought from the market today.First, cut and wash the fish well. Then lightly fry the fish in oil with light salt, chili powder, and turmeric powder.Then, in another pot, add chopped onion and chopped green chillies and stir for a while. Then, add salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, jhira paste and mix well. After adding the fried fish, remove from the heat after 15 minutes.It tastes amazing with hot rice. Since we are Bengalis who love fish and rice, we try to include fish in our daily diet.
