Easy Oat Bars
Not only were these components incredibly simple to combine, but they make for an ideal no-bake & no-cook dessert to bid farewell to summer.
Easy No-Bake Oat Bars Recipe
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick cooking oats
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2/3 cup Biscoff spread
Heat the butter over medium heat in a large saucepan. Mix in the brown sugar and vanilla extract.
Stir in the oats and cook the mixture over medium-low heat for a few minutes until golden.
While the oats are cooking, melt the chocolate chips and then stir in the biscoff.
Press 3/4 of the oat mixture in the bottom of a greased 8×8″ baking dish.
Drizzle the melted chocolate mixture onto the oats.
Sprinkle the remaining oats mixture on top.
Refrigerate the bars for 2-3 hours or until firm. Cut into squares.
