Some years ago I noticed I had accumulated quite a selection of guitar picks/plectrums/plectra. They come in a variety of shapes, colours and materials with some bearing the names of musicians, brands and guitar shops. I have stuck them along the shelves above my desk as decoration. Before then my daughter arranged some into a flower.
I do actually use some of them and will experiment with different kinds, but I have my favourites.
Back when I was on the Tsu site I started advertising that I would pay people who sent me some new additions to my collection. I received some from guitarists in the UK as well as further afield. I continued this on Steem and got more from as far away as Australia. I am not too bothered about rarity. I really just want more different picks and do not mind if they are used and even worn out.
I am not looking to pay a lot for picks, but if you happen to have one used by an artist I really like then we can negotiate. Otherwise if you have some to offer then comment with a picture and we can discuss. I think you can tape a few to some paper and send it as a normal letter, which should not be expensive. I will cover reasonable postage in Hive and add something extra for your trouble.
I have a few duplicates I can offer to other collectors and maybe we can do an exchange. The black one in the middle came from @hammaraxx and bears his own logo. The Iron Age one came from @melbookermusic.
So here is a way to gain some more Hive from things you might otherwise throw away. I could also be interested in promotional items related to guitar such as keyrings.

I've got a couple up in the loft (which aren't for sale) from Bono and The Edge. I don't even play guitar, just got them from their guitar technician after a gig.

Did you really have to pay for the picks your got or did most people just send them to you out of generosity. It has been a long time since I had to buy any, but I don't feel like they were that expensive. I could be wrong though. Awesome collection by the way!
I have been lucky that people have been very generous. I do not buy picks often. Some of those I use a lot were relatively expensive, but last a long time.
For my acoustic strumming I use Pointless Picks. They just work for me with my weak right hand. @stav gave me some, but they are not easy to find in the UK and I could do with some spares..

Aha! I am down to a couple that are getting worn. Where did you get them?
Still have them from when I bought them originally. I seem to recall they came in a rather large pack - I have plenty of other picks.
They last a long time as there is a lot of picking edge to use. I could use another red or green if you can spare it.
