Hello everyone
This TeleTuesday has a bit of a sad touch to it because of recent facts in the music world.
Last Satuday I woke up to the terrible news about the passing of Foo Fighter's drummer Taylor Hawkins. I obviously did not know him personally but he seemed like a nice guy and a lot of other musicians and artists who knew him said he was indeed a great person.
Foo Fighters was never an absolute favorite of mine but I still listened to and enjoyed many of their songs. I even had the chance to see them live on 2 ocasions and they were both great concerts.
Coincidentally, my favourite song by the Foo Fighters is "Cold day in the Sun", whish is sung by Taylor, and not Dave, so I thought it was a good song to pay my respect for this great drummer.
RIP Taylor!
For this one, I used my custom Tele and a Meteoro amp. Since this song is mostly played on acoustic, I didn't use any pedals. Just plugged straight into the amp.

I've seen them live a couple of times too and they put on a great show. Taylor was a real character. I know he had his issues with drugs, but I'm not going to judge him.

Yeah, I think everyone has their own demons. Too bad it cost him his life so early but I agree with you. It's not for us to judge him
