Escape From Tarkov is unlike any other FPS (first person shooter) or survival game I have ever played before. It feels more like a hybrid of the two, seasoned with a pinch of RPG (role playing game). I have become utterly addicted, by that I mean I have abandoned all other games I used to play and find myself thinking about Tarkov even while showering... sad.... I started my journey into Tarkov about a year ago, unsure about what to expect and totally clueless as to what this monster was hiding. Escape from Tarkov has been available to play and in the Beta testing stages since early 2016, still was I no way ready for what was coming. For the first two weeks while playing Escape From Tarkov, I found myself completely lost and unsure if I was qualified to play such a game. As time went on and my frustrations cooled, I began to understand the world of Tarkov and its laws. This was unlike any other game I have experienced before and needed to treat it as such. As time passed, I found myself loving Tarkov more and more; It was a challenge, if was different, and it made me think in ways that a video game never had before. I could go on and on about the details and traits in Tarkov that I love, but finding them out on your own is half of the battle and all of the fun. I now have over 4,000 hours in the game and have come to respect almost everything about the game from the small group of developers that helped to create it, to the communities and players that have grown from it. Here are a few of my bloopers and highlight clips I made and posted on Youtube. I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions do not be afraid to ask.
