Hola amigos, espero que estén bien. He vivido una de las mejores experiencias la semana pasada, y no tuve mucho tiempo de poder compartirla. Los días pasaron súper rápido para mí y para todos los que vivimos el momento. Estaré publicando poco a poco lo que hice. Ya que me parece q no podré contar todo en una sola publicación.
El evento en el que participen se llama AFIDE, es sobre actividad física y deporte. Este evento tenía como tema, " Ciencia para vencer", en este hay ferias expositivas, y muchas personas exponen sus investigaciones y muchas personalidades de todo el mundo participan ahi. También van glorias deportivas de nuestro país. En fin es de gran relevancia, y eso me ayuda mucho en mi currículum como estudiante.
Todo comenzó el domingo 26, yo estaba en Matanzas en casa de mi familia, y tenía que irme ese día al hotel Tulipán, que se encuentra en La Habana. Gracias a Dios había un transporte para los participantes de esta provincia al igual que para las demás provincias del país. La salida iba a ser desde el estadio de Matanzas.
Me encantó la belleza del estadio, primera vez que había ido, y bueno ni hablar del medallero.
En la espera, conocí profesores de la universidad de Matanzas. Personas muy entusiastas y al igual que yo, muy anciosos por comenzar la aventura. Al llegar la guaguita, nos montamos rápido y pues el viaje fue muy activo, los profesores riéndose de cosas cómicas que habían pasado. Algo que caracteriza al cubano es su espontaneidad y alegría ante todo. También conocí a una estudiante de Matanzas, ella estudia bioanalisis clínico, y fue el inicio de una nueva amistad.
Al llegar al hotel nos acreditamos, y ahí pude ver a mis profesores que me estaban esperando, ellos habían llegado antes que yo, ya que ellos iban desde Artemisa, que está cerca de La Habana.
En la acreditación nos daban un solapin, con el nombre y el CI el cual siempre deberíamos tener puesto para todo. En una bolsita nos dieron una pluma, un block de notas, y 3 entradas para almorzar en el Palacio de las Convenciones y una invitación especial para el último almuerzo, junto con un llaverito.
Cuando estábamos en el hotel Tulipán, nos informaron que ya no íbamos a quedarnos ahí, nuestro hotel iba a ser Copacabana. Al enterarme no cabía de alegría, ya que a pesar de ser 3 estrellas, es un súper hotel y a parte que todo era gratis, para los estudiantes todo estaba pagado, no gastamos ni un peso. En el camino conocí a otros dos estudiantes de Cienfuegos que al igual que yo estudian Cultura Física. Al llegar al hotel nos recibieron con un trago, que sabía a limonada.
Y ahí conocí a mi tocalla Amanda, hicimos una muy linda amistad. La verdad fue un placer conocerla, y espero pronto volver a verla. Ella está en 4to año de la carrera, ya terminó sus estudios, ya solo falta su graduación. Ella fue mi compañera de cuarto en toda la semana.
Para poder conocer y salir un rato y no quedarnos en el cuarto, organizamos todo y nos pusimos de acuerdo para salir. Invitamos al chófer que nos iba a llevar a todos lados en toda la semana. Él nos invitó a tomar malta y cerveza. Cerca del hotel había una cafetería súper elegante, y ahí disfrutamos de una vista genial al mar.
Al llegar la noche, nos bañamos y fuimos a la mesa buffet. Nos quedamos boca abierta al ver tanta comida y el olor tan rico a carne en la plancha.
Luego fueron llegando más estudiantes de la parte oriental del país. Llegaron tarde, y no pudimos compartir mucho con ellos. Pero al día siguiente íbamos a conocerlos.
Bueno fue un día de muchas emociones. Sin saber que los demás días iban a estar cargado de muchas más aventuras. Nos acostamos temprano ya que al día siguiente había que madrugar, porque iba a ser la inauguración del evento.

When we arrived at the hotel we checked in, and there I could see my professors who were waiting for me, they had arrived before me, since they were going from Artemisa, which is near Havana.
At the accreditation we were given a lapel pin, with our name and IC which we should always wear for everything. In a little bag we were given a pen, a notepad, and 3 tickets for lunch at the Palacio de las Convenciones and a special invitation for the last lunch, together with a little key ring.
When we were at the Tulipán hotel, we were informed that we were no longer going to stay there, our hotel was going to be Copacabana. When I found out I was overjoyed, because despite being 3 stars, it is a super hotel and besides everything was free, for the students everything was paid, we did not spend a single peso. On the way I met two other students from Cienfuegos who, like me, are studying Physical Culture. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with a drink, which tasted like lemonade.

In the evening, we bathed and went to the buffet table. Our mouths dropped open at the sight of so much food and the delicious smell of meat on the grill.
