Hola amigos. Hace días que no estoy por acá con alguna publicación nueva, pero hoy sentí la necesidad de hacerlo. Aquí les comparto un poema en versos libres, de mi libro Coágulos. Espero les guste, y se sientan identificados con este texto.
Sin fuerzas
no me enfrentaré al diluvio
que arrastró mis zapatos al mar.
Afuera llovía
pero nunca creí
que pudieran romperse los cristales
donde la vida era un lampo,
una taza de azúcar,
la leche para el desayuno;
el espejo cóncavo
para avisorar la llegada de la cicatriz.
Afuera llovía sin piedad,
y yo no tuve fuerzas
para enfrentarme al diluvio.
Mi hijo dormía
en la bambula de la tarde ajena.
Dentro de él,
también llovía.
Vi cómo los charcos
le salían por la boca.
De nada sirvió el talismán.
De nada sirvieron las cruces
que adornaron el piso.

Hello friends. I haven't been here with a new post for days, but today I felt the need to do so. Here I'm sharing a free verse poem from my book "Clots." I hope you like it and relate to this text.
Without strength,
I won't face the flood
that swept my shoes into the sea.
It was raining outside,
but I never believed
that the glass could break
where life was a flash,
a cup of sugar,
milk for breakfast;
the concave mirror
to warn of the arrival of the scar.
Outside, it was raining mercilessly,
and I didn't have the strength
to face the flood.
My son was sleeping
on the bamboo shed of someone else's afternoon.
Inside him,
it was also raining.
I saw the puddles
coming out of his mouth.
The talisman was of no use.
The crosses that adorned the floor were of no use.
