Desde siglos pasados nuestro país fue víctima de la conquista y colonización. Esto trajo consigo la explotación, la supervivencia y que existieran varias clases sociales; pero también un gran incremento de la cultura, la cual tiene una mezcla de matices descendientes de España y África. Por eso existe gran variedad en la música, el teatro y la religion, porque ellos nos trasmitieron costumbres y tradiciones. Precisamente de uno de estos quisiera dirigir la atención a esta comunidad HIVE.
Since past centuries our country has been a victim of conquest and colonization. This brought with it exploitation, survival and the existence of various social classes; but also a great increase in culture, which has a mixture of shades descending from Spain and Africa. That is why there is a great variety in music, theater and religion, because they transmitted customs and traditions to us. Precisely from one of these I would like to draw of this comunity HIVE.
Quisiera contarles de un viaje que realice a finales del mes de julio, fui invitada por iglesia Bautista Occidental de mi localidad a visitar el municipio de Herradura aquí en la provincia de Pinar de Río, con un objetivo muy concreto, hablarle a la población sobre el libro más completo que existe desde antaño "La Biblia", e invitarlos a la iglesia más cercana de su comunidad a aprender de ella, como estudiarla, además de interactuar con los pobladores del lugar, por lo que me pareció un viaje muy interesante, ya que soy maestra por vocación y sé de la importancia de conocer esta, para poder saber como interactuar con los niños, jóvenes y adultos que la practican. Bueno, sin más preámbulo les contaré de este viaje maravilloso.
I would like to tell you about a trip that I made at the end of July, I was invited by the Western Baptist Church of my town to visit the municipality of Herradura here in the province of Pinar de Río, with a very specific objective, to speak to the population about the the most complete book that has existed since ancient times, "The Bible", and invite them to the nearest church in their community to learn about it, how to study it, as well as interact with the locals, for which I thought it was a very interesting trip, since that I am a teacher by vocation and I know the importance of knowing this, in order to know how to interact with children, young people and adults who practice it. Well, without further ado I will tell you about this wonderful trip.
Me levanté temprano y me dispuse a ultimar los detalles del viaje, más tarde salí para el punto de partida y sobre las 8 y 30 de la mañana nos recogió un ómnibus Girón. El viaje fue muy divertido entre risas y bendiciones, que hermoso el verdor de las plantas después del devastador ciclón del 28 de septiembre. También entre el paisaje se observaba una que otra casa, unas ya recuperadas y otras ya en proceso; pero el sol mañanero con sus luces hacía bello el entorno.
I got up early and got ready to finalize the details of the trip, later I left for the starting point and around 8:30 in the morning a Girón bus picked us up. The trip was very fun between laughter and blessings, how beautiful the greenery of the plants after the devastating cyclone of September 28. Also among the landscape one could see one or another house, some already recovered and others already in process; but the morning sun with its lights made the beautiful entorn.
Después de casi media hora de traslado, al fin llegamos al encuentro de un pueblo que tenía solo una calle principal y varias aledañas, en estas habían casas de grandes tejados, pero no eran las más comunes, kioscos carretillas y puestos de cuentapropistas; y los mismos pregonaban a gritos su mercancía, pero eso sí, limpio y se respiraba un ambiente tranquilo.
After almost half an hour of driving, we finally arrived at a town that had only one main street and several surrounding ones, in these there were houses with large roofs, but they were not the most common, kiosks and self-employed stalls; and they themselves shouted their merchandise, but yes, clean and a calm atmosphere was breathed.
Llegamos al lugar del reencuentro, la iglesia del pueblo, solo quedaba de ella unos maderos en pie y un techo superpuesto, pero los hermanos de religión que adornaban el lugar, salieron a nuestro encuentro con muestras de alegría y humildad. Hicieron una oración de bienvenida y el pastor que nos acompañaba se dirigió a todos, y escudriñó uno de los textos bíblicos escogido para ese día, se cantaron alabanzas a nuestro señor "Dios".
We arrived at the place of the reunion, the church of the town, only a few standing timbers and a superimposed roof remained of it, but the religious brothers who adorned the place, came out to meet us with signs of joy and humility. They made a welcome prayer and the pastor who accompanied us addressed everyone, and scrutinized one of the biblical texts chosen for that day, praises were sung to our "God".
Después fuimos a interactuar con los residentes del poblado donde llevamos la palabra, y se les invitó a que se reunieran con nosotros en el horario de las 3 y 30 y llevaran a los niños de cada hogar. Nos recibieron con respeto, mostrando grandes valores de su personalidad. Esta demás decir que hubo muchos que nos rechazaron
Then we went to interact with the residents of the town where we speak, and they were invited to meet with us at 3:30 p.m. and bring the children from each home. They received us with respect, showing great values of their personality. It goes without saying that there were many who rejected us
Cuando llego la hora de reunirnos, habían muchos niños acompañados de sus familiares, participaron en la actuación de los payasos. Se presentó una obra que llevo un gran mensaje para todos, y los niños disfrutaron con gozo.
When the time came to meet, there were many children accompanied by their relatives, they participated in the performance of the clowns. A play was presented that carried a great message for everyone, and the children enjoyed it with joy.
Sabemos que los medios audiovisuales son importantes para nutrirnos mejor de la enseñanza, pero también aprendieron que la Fe se aprende también por el oír, y que los libros transmiten mensajes que enamoran con sus textos, son muy sanos, porque nos dan paz, sabiduría; mientras que otros medios nos propician agresividad y carencia de valores, porque nos llenan de mentiras y actos corruptos.
We know that audiovisual media are important to better nurture us with teaching, but they also learned that Faith is also learned by hearing, and that books transmit messages that make you fall in love with their texts, they are very healthy, because they give us peace, wisdom; while other media make us aggressive and lack values, because they fill us with lies and corrupt acts.
Quisiera compartir que un niño minusválido que participó allí, fue el resultado completo de lo que expreso en este post. El niño manifestó una vivencia horrible, dijo que antes de ese día se sentía muy solo, que a pesar de tener los medios suficientes, los cuales utilizaba día a día, no tenía, amigos, que sentía gran alegría de estar allí con otros niños, y deseaba que fueran sus amigos, porque nadie nunca lo visitaba, y una vez se sintió tan deprimido que con tan poca edad intento quitarse la vida.
I would like to share that a disabled child who participated there was the complete result of what I express in this post. The child manifested a horrible experience, he said that before that day he felt very lonely, that despite having sufficient means, which he used every day, he did not have friends, that he felt great joy to be there with other children, and he wished they were his friends, because no one ever visited him, and once he felt so depressed that at such a young age he tried to kill himself.
Creo que habíamos logrado el objetivo, hacer ver a todos la importancia que tiene reunirnos en el lugar más sagrado que existe, allí llevamos nuestras cargas y salimos sin ellas, llenos de amor y Fe espiritual y la añoranza del regreso, para compartir una nueva enseñanza. Regresamos a casa extenuados y contentos de este viaje maravilloso.
I think we had achieved the objective, to make everyone see the importance of meeting in the most sacred place that exists, there we took our burdens and left without them, full of love and spiritual Faith and the longing for the return, to share a new teaching . We return home exhausted and happy from this wonderful trip.

Emotivo viaje de amor y fe. Creo en mi Dios y he visitado la iglesia Bautista, de la que atesoro maravillosas vivencias. No hay nada tan gratificante como servir a los otros.
