Hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes un adorno que en mi casa es cuidado con gran amor, no sé si les pasa que siempre en casa ahí objetos que mamá siempre nos dice q tengamos cuidados con ellos, en mi casa uno de esos es un pequeño búcaro que recuerdo cuando era más pequeña fuimos a una feria artesanal de la Habana y mama lo compro con mucho entusiasmo y estaba súper contenta con esa compra, yo no entendía bien porque no conocía la historia detrás y resulta q ese búcaro es de Alicia de la Campa y es una de las artistas favoritas de mi mamá que es una apacionada de la pintura, entonces es cuando empiezo a entender porque le hacía tanta ilusión este artículo.
Alicia de la Campa es una versátil creadora que ha incursionado con éxitos en la pintura, el dibujo, el grabado y la ilustración. Luego de licenciarse en Educación Plástica en el Instituto Superior Pedagógico Enrique José Varona, ejerció la docencia en ese centro y en la Academia Nacional de Artes Plásticas San Alejandro
Su obra abarca diferentes expresiones de las artes visuales como la pintura, el dibujo, la ilustración y el grabado. En el arte pictórico, generalmente, construye su discurso a partir de la figura femenina y otros motivos alegóricos que la circundan. Se trata de criaturas idílicas y al tiempo reales que suelen provocar reflexiones de género.
Mi mamá me cuenta que está artista destaca por el control cromático y la firmeza del dibujo, y además tenía una inspiración especial ya que está decía que las mujeres que pintaba o dibujaba son como su alter ego, son formas que habitan en sus sueños, su mundo interior ,símbolos de la vida, además de la belleza y el conocimiento
Está es una artista cubana cuya obra posee una audaz y muy deliberada intención poética, tanto es así que cuando publica sus cuadros en las redes suele acompañarlos con poemas.
En fin se puede ver que en cada cuadro ha partido de una idea concreta. Las composiciones son estables, vuelan pájaros o mariposas y en ocasiones navegan barcos alrededor de personajes centrales que pueden ser tán sólidos como tótems. Abundan los perfiles, las composiciones simétricas, las figuras estáticas. Y sobre esa base se crean las más disímiles historias.
