Mi núcleo familiar está compuesto por mis padres Daisy y Omar, mi hermano Alberto, y mi actual novia. Ya una vez presentados, comenzamos el relato.
Sabiendo que teníamos poco tiempo mi hermano y yo para compartir, debido a que su viaje estaba cercano. Decidimos hacer ciertos paseos, en esos momentos todavía estábamos en plena apertura de la etapa poscovid.
Todavía estaban algunas de las medidas implementadas, como el uso del naso buco. Nuestra aventura comenzó en la primera semana de diciembre, visitando la localidad de Casa Blanca, localizada en el Morro Cabaña, donde fuimos de visita, a casa de los familiares de mi cuñada.
El lugar que visitamos era un hermoso restaurante, que tiene una de las vistas más hermosas del malecón habanero, así como de su litoral costero. El restaurante estaba decorado en madera, con adornos tallados como un águila que estaba ubicada en una de las columnas cerca del bar.
Estuvimos un tiempo allí compartiendo en familia. Sobre el horario del medio día, continuamos nuestra aventura, dirigiéndonos hacia el Cristo, monumento emblemático que le da un toque especial a las alturas habaneras. La vista es hermosa, la escultura es muy simbólica, con gran altura. Aprovechamos la ocasión para tomarnos fotos. Para culminar la tarde, cuando íbamos de regreso hacia la casa, pasamos por una cremería cercana, y disfrutamos de helado.
Al día siguiente nos planificamos para visitar el acuario, bello lugar ubicado en el municipio playa, estábamos emocionados, era nuestra primera vez visitando un acuario juntos. El lugar era hermoso. Pudimos ver cantidad de especies marinas, que solo habíamos visto por televisor, Entre ellas vimos tortugas, morenas, tiburones, entre otros. El acuario tenía muchas áreas recreativas para niños, tal como un tablero inmenso de ajedrez. Paseamos por todas las áreas destinadas, luego pasamos por la cafetería y disfrutamos de una merienda meritoria. Una vez tomado un descanso nos retiramos a casa. En la noche lo llevé a un bar llamado Distrito 25, un lugar con una decoración hogareña muy atractiva, en el que se puede pasar una tarde agradable en compañía de cerveza y pizza. Está ubicado en el Vedado, Estando allí, no se hizo esperar la orden de pizza de jamón y dos jarras de cerveza, para memorar nuestra hermandad.
El día siguiente era el 31 de diciembre, como familia hicimos los preparativos para festejar con la comida tradicional; en esos momentos el cerdo no faltaba, así como la cerveza. La música recorría de extremo a extremo de la casa. Compartimos ese último mes y ese día en especial, animándolo para que no se sintiera triste por dejarnos.
Este 31 de diciembre, nos estará acompañando desde una videollamada, hasta que pueda venir de visita pronto. El amor fraternal es una de las cosas que debemos cuidar. La vida pasa tan rápido que no nos damos cuenta.

Who emigrated to the United States, in search of new opportunities. This post is a memory of the special moments we had that month of December, full of fun adventures.

We decided to do some sightseeing, at that time we were still in the middle of the opening of the postcovid stage. Some of the measures were still in place, such as the use of the naso buco. Our adventure began in the first week of December, visiting the town of Casa Blanca, located in Morro Cabaña, where we went to visit my sister-in-law's relatives.
The place we visited was a beautiful restaurant, which has one of the most beautiful views of the Havana Malecon, as well as of its coastline. The restaurant was decorated in wood, with carved ornaments such as an eagle that was located on one of the columns near the bar. We spent some time there sharing as a family. Around noon, we continued our adventure, heading towards the Christ, an emblematic monument that gives a special touch to the heights of Havana. The view is beautiful, the sculpture is very symbolic, with great height. We took advantage of the occasion to take pictures. To end the afternoon, on our way back home, we stopped at a nearby creamery and enjoyed some ice cream.
The next day we planned to visit the aquarium, a beautiful place located in the beach town, we were excited, it was our first time visiting an aquarium together. The place was beautiful. We were able to see a lot of marine species, which we had only seen on TV. Among them we saw turtles, moray eels, sharks, among others. The aquarium had many recreational areas for children, such as a huge chess board. We strolled through all the designated areas, then went to the cafeteria and enjoyed a snack. Once we took a break we retired home. In the evening I took him to a bar called Distrito 25, a place with a very attractive homey decor, where you can spend a pleasant evening in the company of beer and pizza. It is located in Vedado, Being there, the order of ham pizza and two pitchers of beer, to commemorate our brotherhood, was not long in coming.
The next day was December 31, as a family we made preparations to celebrate with traditional food; at that time the pork was not lacking, as well as beer. Music was played from one end of the house to the other. We shared that last month and that special day, encouraging him so that he would not feel sad to leave us.
This December 31, he will be joining us from a video call, until he can come visit soon. Brotherly love is one of the things we must take care of. Life goes by so fast that we don't realize it.
