The most well-armoured Drukhari in the game... who are also elite fighters...
Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post! I have recently needed to take a new direction. All the details about that is found Here - The Great 40k Review Plan
This is not to just regurgitating the stats and skills. I provide my own assessment of what I think of the unit and its capabilities. Often... about how to use them best... or how to kill them best!
Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
I will do a new estimation of what I owe soon!
Back to the review!
Drukhari, Incubi
10th Edition Index
Incubi are the elite bodyguard/executioner squad of the Drukhari, they can be led by an Archon or Drazhar, the named character who is like a uber-version of them.
Knowing that Drazhar was the ex-Phoenix Lord of the Striking Scorpions, I see the Incubi as a twisted Drukari version of that Aspect Temple.
Drazhar fell from the Path of Aruryan, but he continued on his own path... I am not certain if he adopted the way of the Incubi or created the Incubi... but it would be in interesting story to read!
Anyway... Incubi are well armoured for Drukhari...
They are 85pts for 5 models or 170pts for 10 models in a unit. Generally, they need a transport to get around but are still faster on foot than most Infantry in the game.
Let's check their stats!
Stats
Movement 7"
Toughness 3
Save 3+/5++(armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 1 (2 for the Klaivex - squad leader)
Ld 6+
OC 1
Weapons
Weapon Loadout: Klaive
The Klaivex's Klaive can be replaced by Demiklaives. (A no-brainer, do it)
Ranged Weapons
None
Melee Weapons
Klaive
3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.
Demiklaives - Single Blade
3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.
Demiklaives - Dual Blades
6 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Twin Linked - This weapon can re-roll to Wound.
Abilities
Tormentors
At the start of the Fight Phase, each enemy unit in Engagement with Incubi must take a Battle-shock test.
Thoughts
Right! So they are Marine Killers! With Damage 2 weapons and AP-2, they will chop down units of Space Marines.
The Demiklaives on the Klaivex either acts the same as the other Klaives or can be a flurry of hits to kill lesser beings.
With Drazhar leading the unit, they become really powerful.
Thank you for reading!

Warhammer 40k review number 425 is a nice pull to share, the the size of that library keeps fans busy. I'm always up for lore recaps, and I love taht this points me to more reading. I dont have time, yet my backlog just grew and my paint pile sighed.
