I just use hivedex.io and put a bunch of small sells up to about 20% above the current price. Just take the total amount you want to sell and divide it by 10 and out sell orders at 2% intervals. If you have more than 20 HIVE to play with then you can do more orders.
So, you can actually trade with as little as 20 HIVE? I haven't tried it myself yet.
By the way, is there any difference between swapping HIVE directly in the wallet versus using Hivedex?
yes you can put very small orders on. I started trading 1 HIVE at a time years ago and slowly increased it as I made profit. No there is no difference. They are just different front ends for the blockchain transactions.
If you see a big pump like we just had all you have to do is sell a bit and wait for it to settle back down again. Then you just buy it back. You can do it with very small amounts
if you look at the pump the just happened. this happens every month or so normally. As long as you have small 1 HIVE sells waiting then they would have gone through without you having to keep an eye on it. Then you just wait a day or two for it to settle back own and buy back.
I don't understand technical analysis, so I just watch the price of Hive go up and down. Plus, I don't have the budget for trading anyway, hehehe.

just remember the orders expire after I think it's 30 days so you need to refresh them. I get caught out by that sometimes!

eventually it will hit the bottom

You can't really do TA on HIVE as there is not enough liquidity
Never managed to sucessfully trade Hive, maybe I just try “fire an’ forget limit order”, do you know a good platform for that with Hive?
Good luck to earn some profits.
