Correct. Usually meetups happen for those who stays in same country or region.
Hive Meetup Vienna is a good example of this. I think Hive Luxembourg are very active as well.

I dont know about sea sickness much..i think i didnt go through that much.i can get by with much of anime at hand and internet🤣
No wonder you have very nice sunset photos. Sunsets in the middle of the ocean looks perfect. Unlike here in the city, too much haze and smog 😂
Nothing beats watching sunset with the family but,yeah,watching it in the middle of the ocean takes rhe cake as well😁
