@shiftrox my suggestion is 25% 15% 10% to top 3, 30% divided among 4-10 and 20% divided among 11-20th
That's a very interesting number. 50% goes to the top 3 and the rest is divided among the other positions. 30 / 7 = something around 4.30% and 20 / 10 = 2% for the rest. It's quite interesting and I think everyone wins.
I thought of that too: 30/18/12 (60% in the top 3), 25% for 4-10 and 15% for 11-20. This way, 4th to 20th place still earn significantly more than they do today (3.57 and 1.5 per position), and 2nd and 3rd place don't plummet.

I think both options are better than the current ratio. I definitely compete for the top 20 if the ratio is updated.
Yeah, definitely. I've come up with a percentage here—let's see—you can't please everyone, but I think splitting it among 20 people works out much better. And everything can be adjusted later, at our own pace.
I think there is a top 10 rewards pool but top 3 get the majority and talks about expanding to top 20 but this game is in active development so feel free to speak your mind about it. shiftrox is pretty active in here sometimes and he is reading everything

Exactly! I've already decided how the rankings will be determined, but I want to warn you that places 11 through 20 will be more of a consolation prize because the percentage will be very low. I don't think I can take much away from the top 3 because those are the people who worked the hardest to earn their points.
So are we saying others aren't contributing. I am not sure how just giving it to few players is going to be sustainable. I myself have started thinking it's not advantage to other players
i mean, its hard to balance a big payout for those that spend a lot of time, effort, and hive into the game, and those that are trying too, but without desmotivating everyone
every season is getting tweaked to find the best balance

Yes you are right, major chunk to top 3 seems unfair.
Everyone contributes in some way, some will contribute more than others, I think that's normal in any game, but in the case of Hive Grove, I think I concentrated everything on 10 players and I found the suggestion of 20 players interesting. The top 3 will still get the biggest share, then we have a range of 4-10 and then 11-20, what I meant is that this final part will get a much smaller percentage, because there's no way to divide everything for everyone.
OK. Let's see how it progresses in near future
