Evarcha gausapata

Here I share some macro shots taken with my phone. That's a cute jumping spider I found in the bushes during my afternoon walk. The jumper is so tiny, and I almost missed it. Luckily, my eyes caught it as the jumper moved on the leaves. It's most likely Evarcha gausapata (Thorell, 1890), a species of jumping spider (family Salticidae) found in Java and Sumatra, Indonesia. Its physical appearance—bright brown abdomen, pedipalps, and legs—indicates that it's a female jumper.
