Female Sumatran Ruddy Darter (Sympetrum Sanguineum)

While I remained where I was, it flew a few times then perched back on the same twig. It kept doing it over and over again, flying for a while but then returning to where it was. It was as if it was telling me that twig was its favorite place.

It is a female Ruddy Darter (Sympetrum sanguineum), a species of dragonfly belonging to the family Libellulidae. The female dragonfly can be identified by its golden yellow back, chest, and tail. While the male dragonfly is bright red. However, both female and male, have black transparent wings
