Here are some macro shots I wanted to share with the Fascinating Insects community.

These photos were taken by me some time ago. A giant stink bug with a brilliant shield visible to me was crawling on a dry twig.

The bug is about the size of my thumb. It has a copper-brown color with a metallic green hue on its back shield and wings, and a golden-yellow under the abdomen.

Its physical characteristics indicate that it is Mattiphus reflexus, a species of stink bug belonging to the family Tessaratomidae. Unfortunately, I can't identify if it's male or female.
