The Dusky Partwing (Psolos Fuligo)

These photos were taken by me in the bushes of Blang Weu Panjoe village. I shot the butterfly while it was flapping its wings.

Psolos fuligo, I think is a strange Binomial name for the butterfly which has common name the dusky partwing. In shape and size, it is somewhat similar to the Skipper, but has a different wing. It is a butterfly species that is spread in India, Southeast Asia, including the Indonesian archipelago. Psolos fuligo has added to my collection of butterfly species.
