Millipede on our wall, almost the size of my pinky

Yellow Spotted Millipede

It was crawling on a wall when I was throwing house dirt. I brought my phone and took 12 pictures trying to capture different elements of this insect.

I thought it was a centipede, but on consulting google lens it turns out to be a Millipede!

Attractive Yellow

Watching insects with a naked eye will only get you so far. A Static high-quality image will tell you a different story every time you watch it. It also gives you time to explore every nook and cranny. I would never have guessed that the yellow spots lie flat over legs, like a helmet with flat curved sides.

Legs

Always thought legs were one integral with contiguous skin. Looking at the magnified images, I could see that it is indeed an arthropod down to its legs.

And every segment has two legs on each side.

Tail

The tail doesn't look like a stinger. And it has tiny legs near it.

Antennae

Only two. And they look like legs.
