Young leaves are their food and this causes young plant growers to be very wary of their presence around they plants.
In the afternoon, before it was getting dark, I decided to go around the lemongrass cultivation owned by the residents of the area where I live, which is south of the village hall and not far from my house.
Around the lemongrass plant, most of what I found were small grasshoppers that were early in age and they were hiding around the leaves of the lemongrass plant in groups.
The little locust swarms look quite unique with colors resembling lemongrass leaves and here you can see some macrophotography shots of the tiny grasshoppers.
The character of the grasshopper looks quite unique because its food is young plant leaves, maybe in terms of food ,,grasshoppers are called herbivorous insects as described in scientific language...Grasshoppers are herbivorous insects of the suborder Caelifera in the order Orthoptera. These insects have antennae that are almost always shorter than their bodies and also have a short ovipositor.source
Around the lemongrass plant I saw, there were quite a lot of small grasshoppers and I took pictures of the grasshoppers according to their movements and I hope you can enjoy them!.

Quite unusual looking little grasshopper all together enjoying the lemon grass.
Great photography presenting them @deltasteem growing lemon grass in my garden the dogs love the fresh leaves I have never noticed other insects perhaps this is very regional.

but that's what I noticed when I hunted their pictures there.
next time I will take pictures when they are working together on lemongrass leaves.. 😀
When all is quiet it is amazing one can hear them nibbling away, they can become a problem when arriving in large numbers stripping leaves from plants, almost destructive.
So many little bugger! :D
