Estas interesantes criaturas son los insectos más grandes que se pueden observar por donde vivo además de las libélulas (que tienen tamaños parecidos).
Good day and happy Tuesday dear audience! Today I want to share with you some pictures I took of two grasshoppers on different days. 😄
These interesting creatures are the biggest insects you can see where I live besides dragonflies (which have similar sizes).

El primero al que fotografíe fue de noche, para esta toma utilicé una lampara de baja potencia para iluminarlo, me gustó bastante esta foto por el fondo negro de la noche lo cual hace que resalte el saltamontes. / The first one I photographed was at night, for this shot I used a low power lamp to illuminate it, I quite liked this picture because of the black background of the night which makes the grasshopper stand out.
Este saltamontes lo fotografié gracias a mi primo @joheredia21 quien me dijo que había uno en la casa al cual tomarle fotos, así que busqué mi cámara y empecé a fotografiarlo. / I photographed this grasshopper thanks to my cousin @joheredia21 who told me that there was one in the house to take pictures of, so I looked for my camera and started to photograph it.
Como este saltamontes estaba en un lugar espacioso, con buena iluminación (era mediodía), aproveché de tomarle fotos desde perspectivas distintas. / As this grasshopper was in a spacious place, with good lighting (it was noon), I took advantage of taking pictures of it from different perspectives.
Sus patas están repletas de pequeñas espinas. / Its legs are full of small thorns.
Imagino que este saltamontes estaba herido de alguna manera por la posición en que estaba. / I imagine that this grasshopper was injured in some way because of the position he was in.
Desde esta perspectiva no parece un saltamontes ni ninguna otra criatura que conozca. / From this perspective he does not look like a grasshopper or any other creature I know.
