Ladybug in the cropfield

Ladybugs have this very beautiful red color that stands out and makes it easier to spot, but it is still a tiny bug. Coccinellids can be found in a variety of habitats, both on the ground and in the trees. They may specialise using certain plants. Ladybugs have been valued in biological pest control, as they prey on agricultural pests such as aphids and scale insects. I found this ladybug in a crop field in Eastern Austria.
