Yesterday afternoon I could notice a small butterfly in one of my Kalanchoe plants, it called my attention that hours later when I returned to the place, it was in the same place, when I approached, I could notice that the fragile butterfly had been trapped in a web and was lying as if dissected while the ants were feeding on it, it was suspended between the nets of some spider that apparently abandoned its trap to hunt food.
For a moment and depending on the angle of the photograph we could think that this butterfly is resting on a branch resting from its fluttering, however, when we change the angle we can notice that it is barely suspended. Similar cases can happen in life, many think we are fine when the reality is different. Many times we find people who are crying out for help without saying anything, and we think they are fine because that is what we are able to observe.
I would have liked to have reached this little butterfly when it was still alive and be able to help it continue its journey through life, but unfortunately, this was not the case. However, I believe that I am here to show me a reality to which we often do not give importance, which is what I have just told you. As they say, over there, not all that glitters is gold! So it's not that this little girl was posing for me, but that she had no choice but to die caught in an empty trap, to be devoured by a few ants.
I cannot imagine the suffering of this little girl, struggling to get out of that mortal coil, for I do not believe that by her nature she has remained motionless waiting for her imminent death to come at any moment. This is experienced by many insects and animals in general on a daily basis, and the truth is that it must be a desperate situation, many even die before being devoured by their hunters, as was undoubtedly the case with this little girl.

Ayer en la tarde pude notar una pequeña mariposa en una de mis plantas de Kalanchoe, me llamo la atención que horas después al volver al lugar, estaba en el mismo sitio, cuando me acerque, pude percatarme que la frágil mariposa había quedado atrapada en una telaraña y yacía como disecada mientras las hormigas se alimentaban de ella, estaba suspendida entre las redes de alguna araña que al parecer abandono su trampa para cazar alimento.
Por un momento y dependiendo del Angulo de la fotografía podríamos pensar que esta mariposa se encuentra posada sobre una rama descansando de su revoloteo, sin embargo, cuando cambiamos el ángulo podemos notar que esta apenas suspendida. Caso similar puede pasar en la vida, muchos piensan que estamos bien cuando la realidad es otra. Muchas veces encontramos personas que están pidiendo ayuda a gritos sin decir nada, y pensamos que están bien pues es lo que logramos observar.
Me hubiera gustado llegar a esta pequeña mariposa cuando aún se encontraba con vida y poder ayudarla a seguir su camino por la vida, pero lamentablemente no fue así, sin embargo, creo que llego para mostrarme una realidad a la que muchas veces no le damos importancia, que es la que les acabo de comentar. Como dicen por allí, ¡No todo lo que brilla es oro! Así que no es que esta pequeña estaba posando para mí, si no que no le quedo de otra que morir atrapada en una trampa vacía, para ser devorada por unas cuantas hormigas.
No imagino el sufrimiento de esta pequeña, luchando por salir de esa red mortal, pues no creo que por su naturaleza se haya quedado inmóvil esperando a que su muerte inminente llegara en cualquier momento. Esto lo viven muchos insectos y animales en general a diario, y la verdad es que debe ser una situación desesperante, incluso muchos llegan a morir antes de ser devorados por sus cazadores, como sin duda fue el caso de esta pequeña.
