I read about the following facts here:
http://obshe.net/posts/id1736.html
And I realized that bumblebees are the closest relatives of bees. They are another of the inhabitants of the amazing macro world that I was interested to watch while taking a walk in the garden.
Bumblebees are one of the most cold-resistant insects. This allows them to fly out early in the morning when the air is still not warm enough and collect the first nectar, which gives the bumblebees a certain competitive advantage over other visitors to the flowers. By quickly and often contracting the muscles of the chest, bumblebees are able to warm their body to the required temperature. A bumblebee coat also helps keep his body warm.

Sometimes a bumblebee can reach a flight speed of about 18 kilometers per hour.

In the next post I will add insects which I met the same day in the garden.
