Name Caterpillar
The name Caterpillar was derived from french word Chatepelose where pillar word used in the form of pillage means destroying. Destroying the phase to be reborn as Butterfly.
What makes Caterpillar a Special Insect
The wings with scales make the Caterpillar/butterfly beautiful, As the color of the wings is because of the scales on wings. These scales are not there on many insects flys bugs moth etc.
What does a Caterpillar feed on ?
The Caterpillars are the grass eating insects. They feed up on their favorite tree and bushes too. They can destroy the plant by eating up their stem.
Does Caterpillar bite ?
Yes they bite leaves and the answer with respect to humans it's a big No. They have strong jaws but they are ment to bite the leaves and mash them. But are never made up to bite humans.
The Caterpillars form different shapes and colors in our surroundings. Some are poisonous and some are of zero harm. Still they cannot bite humans. But colorful insects are always dangerous one. As the color is more in a butterfly, it is an easy target. They can escape only by being poisonous. Careful
